Well positioned between the beach, main downtown and the ferry terminal. All easily walkable. Room was comfortable. The legendary view is absent from first floor rooms (it’s mainly a lemon tree and a wall). Possibly second floor rooms get above the neighbors roof. Staff are brilliant. Helpful, pleasant, had good ideas for places to listen to music/eat out. Breakfast ok. Dining room pleasant. With the heat of the country, the pool was amazing at the end of the day

Excellent little hotel, great staff and pleasant stay. Close to the ferry port. Breakfast is ok but could be slightly better, beds are pretty comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Overall we would definitely stay again. Hotel has great views.

We have just returned from a 9 night stay at the Blue Marlin. We had a fabulous time. We had the top apartment which had a huge terrace with sun loungers and a pool on the roof. We did think we would have full use of the kitchen in the apartment but this was not the case nothing was connected and there was no cutlery etc. The apartment was really clean and the staff were wonderful. The air conditioning worked a treat. We ate in the restaurant a few times and also had room service. We absolutely loved the island itself and the fishing was amazing.I did feel bad though as when we left we thought we had paid the bill on booking but we hadn't so sorry to the guy on reception who had to deal with my rant at 5AM. We will buy you a drink on our return next year. We will definitely be back. Jane And Rob, London

As we missed the ferry to Santo Antao, we were lucky to get a room at the Blue Marlin Hotel. The location is great and we had an amazing view from our spacious balcony. The rooms are spacious and clean. We enjoyed our short stay.

great view, nice rooms, moderate breakfast. At night, with all the spot lights, the hotel looks like a Christmas tree, which is absolutely not necessary. the pool area is too small and useless. Overall a good place to stay...

I was on vacation and in Cape Verde with some friends and I went to the restaurant in November 2022. I did not like the restaurant service, I ordered a seafood rice in your own way, but I did not like it, it was not well made.

Hotel in posizione molto comoda , dotato di camere con vista sulla baia, molto belle. Pulito, curato, ottima colazione, personale molto gentile. Abbiamo provato due volte il ristorante, buono. Un ottimo baccalà, buoni anche i contorni. Dotato di aria condizionata, che è utile in periodi caldi. Un bel balconcino favoriva la vista e il relax. Anche una piscina piccola ma funzionale. Siamo stati 10 notti, molto confortevole. Da tornare.
