No help with luggage during check-in and check-out. The hot spring facilities are average, and the hygiene is average. The hot spring on the top floor has no indoor place to wash, and it is only outdoors and very cold, which is not good. The food is average and I don’t think it is very fresh, but the spring water is very good. The hotel has been open for many years. It is not a large group but a private hotel. Many of the furnishings are from the 1960s and 1970s. Overall, I would give it more than 75 points. 20 minutes by car from Echigo-Yuzawa. There are also supermarkets and convenience stores nearby which is very convenient.

The atmosphere looks rural, quiet, suitable for relaxation. Good food, good service. When returning to Himalayas, the hotel arranged a car to take us to the train station. Excellent service.

The staff were very friendly and the facilities were clean. Also, I went to the open-air observation bath early in the morning, and since it was winter, I was able to enjoy the snowy scenery.
