It was used during the 2022 Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale. The main building, where the lobby is located, is an old private house built in the Meiji period and has been designated as a registered tangible cultural property. This modern Japanese-style hotel has been recognized as a three-star hotel in the Michelin Guide Niigata 2020. The calculated space design has a sense of overkill, but it is calming. I stayed in Classic C-type Room 305 (Komatsu), a twin bed placed on a 10 tatami mat, a space next to 4.5 tatami mats and 3 tatami mats, and a reading space facing the front. It was a bit too large for a couple, but the 3 tatami mats were occupied by chairs and were a little inconvenient. Dinner is a full-course meal called ”Snow Country Gastronomy” based on ingredients and traditional dishes that have been eaten in the snow country for generations. Although the taste was above the level, there was no dish that left an impression with the orthodox menu structure. Although it is a different world once you pass through the gate, it is close to the city area and is along National Route 291, which runs parallel to the Uonuma River, so the location is not very environmentally friendly. It's not bad if you decide to stay home.

Our room was on the second floor of the annex, and some of the rooms had stairs, so it was difficult to carry the pet cart. Even with the door closed, bugs would get in somehow. The open-air bath smelled of gasoline, probably from the inn, and was uncomfortable at night. As it was the season for new rice, we ordered extra breakfast, which was absolutely delicious. Many guests brought their pets, and the inn and its guests were all very pet-friendly.

I was recommended at Uonuma no Sato at Hakkaiyama Brewery and went to a day trip hot spring. The reception of the day trip hot spring was put in by 15:00. It was a good time, so I went to the mixed bathing open-air bath. The dressing room and washing place are separate 々 mixed baths, and the rock baths of the indoor baths that flow directly from the source are small 々 hot and comfortable hot water, and about 80% are partitioned by bamboo walls. The large open-air bath that can be taken out of the mixed bath is very large and there is no roof, and it felt a little lukewarm if it was not near the hot water mouth, probably because of the folding snow. The small open-air bath, which was separated from the large open-air bath, was just the right temperature of the hot springs, making use of the hot springs. I was satisfied with the atmosphere of a hot spring inn in the lobby.

Come to Ishida Maruyama to ski. The hotel is a 6-minute walk from the cable car. It is a Japanese-style hotel. The floor is comfortable with mattresses, sheets and quilts. There is a free bus to the hotel from Echigo Yuzawa. The Ishidaru ski resort is right at the door. There are discounts on the tickets. There are many delicious restaurants nearby. The hotel has a 30-minute private bath time for each room guest.

I participated in the fireworks tour for the first time in four years. When I came back to the inn, I had rice balls ready, and I didn't know last time, so I ate a lot of fireworks, so I left the rice balls empty this year. The two-stage big lunch box was delicious. The hotel was an old building, stayed for two nights, and went into the hall to smell a little kerosene. The room that stayed in the first night was really hard to say. The air conditioning in the room is very old and can't be used. So the heating furnace like kerosene is opened. The whole room is full of strong kerosene. The machine is still very loud, and it is roaring all night. In addition to the smell of kerosene in the room, the dirty trace on the wall, really did not sleep for one night, in the middle of the night, find Trip.com customer service to help me coordinate, the next day I changed a room again, although it is still very old house, but at least the room air conditioning on the second night is available. The stove that burned kerosene did not smell kerosene. When I was broken, I turned the stove off and opened the air conditioner. It was quiet. There was no spider web around the window. The first night's accommodation experience felt that it was expensive to go out and suffer. The price was not cheap. There is no way to book this hotel's relatives, go to be sure to say, to a clean room, fortunately the traffic is OK, there is a snow field, cable car, more than 300 meters away is the bus stop, travel is still OK, it is really health

Visited many times in skiing. Hotel stay is the first time. Satisfied and booked with twin. It was a 6 floor room, opposite to Geren, but the view was good, the room was large, and there was no step with the bathroom 〇. The large bath is very large and clean and easy to use, but overall there is no hot spring feeling (?), and the open-air jacket is not liked.
