I go to this hotel twice a year, I love it. The number one reason is the food... Of all the different places I've stayed. I still think the food at Mikado Hotel is the best ☝️! Every time, we take our time at the "Momofuku Houjou" dining room. This time I was very satisfied with the king crab. The sashimi and sushi are also very tasty. The staff are friendly and smiling. I will always support you, please do your best!

The hotel is elegantly furnished inside and the hospitality of the staff is top-notch. Rooms are spacious and kept clean. From the windows, you can enjoy the beautiful nature of Unzen and the changing scenery of the four seasons. The hot springs in particular are extremely comfortable, and the touchable spring water will soothe your tired body.

2021.12.30-31 I went with 5 people including my boyfriend and friends. This is my second time, but I went there once before, before the coronavirus. The person at the sushi corner of the buffet was unfriendly, but other than that he was very kind. ︎There is a corner in the bathroom where you can put your towel after using it, and I accidentally put it in there.I wanted to go in the morning too, so I called the front desk and they said they would charge a fee for towels. That's what he said. picture? I've been to many hot springs in the past, but I've never been told that I have to pay for towels. Is this normal now? Isn't this true even for a business hotel? I was a little disappointed. The rice was delicious, but I would have liked more fish for breakfast. This is a deliberate rating because the customer service, baths, and food were good.
