Ryokan Yumotoso is in a perfect location in the quaint town of Kurokawa. There are about 12 rooms only, hence its quite a quiet and small establishment. Service staff are all great, and the room view is fantastic looking over the beautiful river. The open onsen also overlooks nature, and private onsens are rustic. As per Ryokans, breakfasts and dinners are included, and so far, we have never been disappointed with food in Ryokans, including Yumotoso. Do note that parking lots are limited, and the lane leading to Yumotoso is rather narrow. Would recommend Yumotoso for its great location, fantastic room view and rustic environment.

The hotel facilities are very complete, the staff are very kind, the meals, dinner and breakfast are all rich, and the atmosphere is great. It is a hot spring hotel worth booking! ! 😍

The futon was clean, and I liked it the most since I went on a trip to Japan.

As for the route, if you take the express bus, you can get off at the Oncheon Village stop, so you don't have to take the subway. Breakfast and dinner were all delicious. It was a good experience.

Thank you for your help on 23/4/12 with 6 siblings who have become elderly people. The open-air bath, in which rich light rust-colored (iron spring) water was poured freely into the rock bath, was extremely soothing. The meals were delicious and included local ingredients. The employees were from Nepal, but they worked hard and I could feel their sincerity. The government's travel support, which has been extended from the end of March to July, has been adapted very well, and I received a discount on accommodation costs and a 2,000 yen shopping coupon, which I was able to use to add to my souvenir expenses.
