Kyukamura Minami-Awaji

We stayed in a Japanese-style room. There was no shower room in the room, which made us extremely troubled. It was extremely inconvenient to have to take a bath in a public bathhouse. Next time we stay, we may choose a Western-style room.  The room looks out to the beautiful outdoor environment

The hotel room is large and well-arranged. The breakfast and dinner meals are buffet style and there is plenty of food.

It was my first time on Awaji Island, but I had a very meaningful time. The hotel was on a hill, so the view was great. The quality of the spring water in the bath was good, and the view from the open-air bath was very soothing. The food was buffet and there were many kinds and colors, so it was fun not only to eat but also to choose. I thought it was nice that the welcome soup, not just the welcome drink, was made with onions, which is typical of Awaji Island. This was so delicious that I bought it at the store. I would like to use it again when visiting Awaji Island.

I stayed at a hotel in Minami-Awaji with plans to go to the Otsuka Museum of Art. It was a Western-style room with a toilet and no bath on the 5th floor. I could see a little of Onaruto Bridge from my room. I wasn't expecting the room to be small, but it had 3 beds and was comfortable. There was a bit of a wait at check-in, but they said it would be busy for dinner, so it was a good idea to check in early at 5:45 p.m. The seafood was particularly fresh and the onion dish was exceptional. The Onaruto Bridge could be seen from the bath, and the view was wonderful. After-bath ice cream service is available until 9pm. They open for breakfast at 7am, but there is a long line at 7am. In the morning, it was a non-reserved table, so I was double-booked with another customer, but the staff made it easy for me. The sea bream chazuke and Awajishima milk were delicious. The check-out time from 9 to 10 o'clock is busy, so it's a good system because you can pay early and stay in your room until 10 o'clock. Overall it was a fun trip.

I don't know if there are any tidying advisors, but it's amazing how easy it is to do DIY. I've seen hooks and slippers on the back of the door in the public bath elsewhere. There is a hot water basket in the room, which is convenient for bringing towels to the public bath, and there is also an insect repellent ground in the room, and although it is a Japanese-style room, there is an extension cord. I'm happy to be able to charge my smartphone, camera, and WiFi all at once by my bedside. Even when it comes to eating, a rubber band to fasten a yukata can be very helpful. There were free drinks and ice on the first floor, which was helpful. I couldn't see the observatory because of the rain, but the planetarium has a feature that allows you to adjust the angle of the night sky in various ways and select stars, probably because of the amazing AI these days. It's free and starts at 8pm. About 40 minutes? You can walk to the beach in the morning and on Saturdays and Sundays from 7am for a walk. Safe driving is all about warming up. The view was great, with a good view of Fukura Port. Hanahenro Hotel.

It was the most delicious curry I've had out of all the Kyuka Mura hotels I've stayed at. On their website, the roast beef, sea bream chazuke, rolled omelette, and French toast are recommended. The sashimi and onion dishes were all delicious, of course, but the curry with its huge chunks of meat was the tastiest I've ever had. I ended up overeating at both dinner and breakfast. Also, when I checked out, the front desk staff told me that the credit card I used to stay at Kyuka Mura was offering a 10% discount, and redid the bill for me. The access was just as difficult as Sanuki Goshikidai, but I'd definitely like to return.
