The standard course was a dish of sea bream, and I got tired of it. It would have been better to pay a little more and choose a different course. From the rooms on the 4th and 5th floors, you can see the small Fukura Port and the sea. The bath is made of boiled carbonated spring water, and has a very slimy feeling. The weak alkaline spring water turns to neutral when boiled. This whirlpool hot spring is said to be the best hot spring water on Awaji Island, and is brought from the source where it was found by drilling nearby after the Great Hanshin Earthquake. The landlady's explanation, although routine, gave me a lot of accurate information, and I felt that this is the reason for its popularity.
