Great view of ASO mountains from this hotel. Onsen has a cold pool which allows me to alternate between the cold and hot pools. Meals were sumptuously superb!

Such a nice place to relax with stunning view and delicious food. The room was huge with view to their beautiful garden and mt. Aso from afar. There onsen has an outside tub as well with view to mt. Aso. Dinner was half buffet style with sashimi and sukiyaki and it was delicious. The staff who checked in and out for us was super friendly and warm. I would definitely stay here again when I come to Aso.

Clean living area and Special Japanese food

Hotel is established in 1985, and is well kept. Japanese room can be too small for 5 people, western Japanese room ok. Dinner is very good, sukiyaki first day and teppanyaki second day. Onsen is good and have an open air bath and seeing Aso.

Breakfast and dinner is good

The hotel is located at the foot of Minami Aso Village, facing the direction of Mount Aso in the distance. The scenery is great. But it is more suitable for tourists traveling by car. There are no other facilities around. There is an open-air hot spring on the first floor of the hotel. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery opposite while soaking in the hot spring. Because of the rain on the day of check-in, you can't see the mountain view opposite, but the courtyard view of the hotel itself is very good. The hotel is a few years old, so the facilities are relatively old, but it is well maintained. The room is also large, and it is still very good to live in.

Although the hotel is old, it is clean. The large windows in the room directly see Mount Aso, which is very magnificent. The bathhouse is clean and has hot springs to soak in. It is very comfortable.
