Hotels Near Aso Farm Land in Minamiaso

The onsen bathroom was spacious, bigger than some of the private ones we paid at other places. Room was big too. Location was perfect. There is a very very nice dinner place Sakamoto nearby, that serves very exquisite and yummy food with price extremely affordable. A little inconvenience if all 4 shared onsen bathrooms are taken, need to wait for your turn. Note that out of the 4 bathrooms, there are 2 rooms with 2 shower heads, and 2 rooms with only 1 shower head. So if more than 2 pax showering together, avoid going to the one with just 1 shower head.

We are so happy we booked this hotel for heading to Mt Aso. First, the staff greeting was super warm and welcoming. The hotel is brand new and while our room was a great and functional design, the bed was the most comfortable western-style bed we’ve had in all of Japan! It’s location is super convenient if you arrive by train (it’s across the street) and while they don’t really have dining facilities, there is a fun outdoor market right outside where we grabbed dinner: meat skewers, mustard greens biscuit and a delicious craft beer (there is also ramen and a few other food choices).

A very pleasant experience, the independent cabin has a beautiful environment, the cabin is clean and comfortable, the most pleasant surprise is the meal, the dinner is a five-course Western food, very delicious, breakfast is also rich, the host is amiable, friends who play in Nan'asu can consider

A traditional onsen hotel, recently renovated and facilities modernised. The twin bed room is large - about 50 sq m in size. In addition, there is a balcony overlooking an excellent view. The breakfast and dinner buffet are fine, though not very special. I like the Japanese style dinner better. The hotel is situated inside the mountain. Access is not easy. There are no shops nearby.

On April 11, 2022, I had lunch in Kowloon. From there, drive to Sherpa in Kumamoto City to finish your shopping, then drive along Prefectural Route 36. Climb the outer rim of Mt. Aso. Arrive at the observatory (Mt. Omine and Takayubaru plateau). You can overlook the city of Kumamoto from here. This observatory is called ``Mt. Arrive at Hotel Greenpia Minami Aso where you will stay on this day. The parking lot is very large. I probably won't use it because I'm going to the public bath, but there is also a bathtub. It is troublesome that wifi has to register an e-mail address with ”Kumamoto free wifi”. I was able to connect at 35 Mbps here within the Rakuten Mobile range. The best bath is the open-air bath where you can enjoy this view. The quality of the spring was colorless and transparent, and it did not look like a hot spring. Dinner is at the restaurant. There was a lot more than I thought in the Viking format. However, since it was the cheapest course, it became a ”buffet without a main dish” (sweat;) Tsure was mainly curry rice. The dessert made me hungry (laughs). The next morning, there was already a line at the breakfast venue. Breakfast is also buffet style. My grandmother is even more voluminous than I am (laughs), and the second time is Western food (laughs). Overnight at Hotel Greenpia Minami Aso. I could see the volcanic smoke of Mt. Nakadake from my room. It's 6:00, so I head to the dinner hall. On this day, I tried curry rice as the main dish. Grandmother made soba the main dish. The next morning we checked out and drove on. 宿泊翌日がゴルフで利用しました。宿泊日当日は夕方より肥後大津馬勝蔵でお客さんと会食でした。会食場所まで歩いて3分で非常に楽でした。部屋は和室でしたが大きく、下手すれば4人ぐらいは泊まれる大きさでした。ちゃんと布団も敷いてありましたし、部屋はこぎれいで清潔でした。

The sale here is a large bath (boiling hot water) with an open-air bath on the top floor, so the street of Otsu and the mountain of ASO are wonderful from the open-air bath, and it is not tired of seeing forever. It is also fun to see a passenger plane taking off from Kumamoto Airport nearby turning right on the hotel and heading for Honshu. Breakfast is healthy breakfast and hotel slogan, but the total vegetables of Japanese are substantial and there is also morning curry. (this curry, not spicy but delicious) I think breakfast is enough to be satisfied. The next group of men said, ”there is nothing.” (Of course there are western foods. bread is delicious) I think it is good enough considering the price and content.

If you can choose amenities in the hotel lobby, I want you to have more variety. If there are only a few types, can I leave it in the room as it is? How about taking money with bath salts? When I told him that I wanted additional towels other than the towels placed in the room, it would cost separately. If it would cost additional, please write it in an easy-to-understand manner. I was surprised because I have never met an additional hotel at this time. The air conditioner is also old and smelly. I think it is better to put an air purifier or replace a new facility such as a kettle TV. If the bathroom and toilet are separate, I think it is better to separate the bedroom by the door. I can hear the voices of other rooms from the corridor, so I think it's good for muffling the sound.

As Takachiho Gorge is comparatively hard to get to we felt much better staying in Takachiho for a night. And it's great to find a modern hotel in Takachiho, the front desk was nice and helpful, note that it is such a small town and dining options are not a lot so I would recommend have dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Hotel has a large parking lot and breakfast is great (a bit wait in the morning during peak time)
