Excellent hotel, managed by George and Sonia very sympathetic and available, breakfast could be a little more abundant but cmq very enough for my habits, clean and comfortable environment, very beautiful location right above the center of the country, The Council
Artemis Seaside Resort

Had a wonderful stay at Artemis during our honeymoon in Greece! The staff is so incredibly friendly - they gave us a full tour of the resort (with welcome drinks) upon our arrival, and escorted us to our room. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite Sea View with Hot Tub and it was wonderful. The room had recently been renovated and the design was beautiful. The view of the sea is great, and we really enjoyed sitting at the table outside with wine in the evening. The pool and beach club are wonderful - the staff is incredibly attentive and we always had water and drinks in hand! The beach that the resort is on is absolutely stunning and we were thankful to have access to the beach bar (as it gets very busy with non-guests during the day). We got a couples massage while we were there and loved it. So relaxing, and the technicians were so friendly. We had to leave the hotel early for an 8am ferry and the hotel arranged for us to have breakfast delivered the night before so we had something to eat in the morning! They were also so speedy at delivering anything we needed to our room during our stay. The location is about 25 minutes away from anything we visited - which we thought was great. Enough to feel secluded and away from crowds, but still easily accessible to anywhere by car. Thank you so much Artemis for a wonderful stay!

We stayed in this hotel for three nights in early May. We understand it to have 22 rooms. It is a low rise building just off the seafront about 10 minutes’ walk from the Port with luggage. It is less than 5 minutes from the taxi rank and the bus station. It has an unprepossessing look but ignore this! We arrived by ferry and there were taxis meeting the ferry but whether the drivers would accept a fare for the short distance we cannot say. Arriving at the airport seemed to us to present no alternative but to take a taxi which cost €15 into town. There is said to be a bus but we could not find it. The hotel does not have any parking. There is a dedicated reception area with a soft seating area to one side and a small, dedicated breakfast room to the other. The hotel is heavily nautically themed, both in its public and private areas. We were on the first floor. Our room was well sized with a comfortable, larger than usual bed with good linen. We had a small balcony overlooking a pool area and other properties. The room suffered from a lack of sizeable, flat surfaces – some of that available was taken up with tea/coffee making kit - but there was a comfortable chair and a small table. We did not experience a great deal of noise although some was evident mainly from the corridor. The bathroom consisted of one room with a walk-in shower and WC – seemingly recently constructed. The hand-basin was outside the bathroom on a shelf with room for personal toiletries and again appeared new-ish. Housekeeping was more than acceptable although timings were erratic. Wi-Fi was OK. The whole hotel was comfortable. Aircon/heating worked well, and all the staff were friendly and the majority had good English. We could not determine if any adaptations had been made for guests with mobility problems and although we are convinced the hotel would seek to help out the very nature of the island presents a challenge. The hotel only provides breakfast but is within 5 minutes (maximum!) of various alternatives and we were able to comfortably dine each evening. Breakfast was plentiful but unimaginative. It was a self-service buffet. We were in the hotel in what was probably low season and it was not full. All services were, however, available. We believe the hotel might have crowding problems when full. The hotel is welcoming, it is sensibly priced and it is incredibly well situated – particularly for short stays – and we would highly recommend it.

This is a top rated place to stay. My wife and I stayed here from May 21-25. Fantastic staff all around super people. The restaurant Sirocco is just 50 yards away. The breakfast served on the terrace or in room if the best. Hot tub on terrace in room also great and the view we had of the beach and surrounding area was magnificent and the beach was one of the very best. All the staff at restaurant was fantastic as well. Nothing remotely negative can be said for this hotel or staff. Only 6 suites so very quiet and beach peaceful and quiet as well. Highly recommend this area. We would stay there again for sure. Thanks for the memories, David and April Lanpher

Located in the port, very good location. Impeccable cleaning. Super new, modern and cosy hotel. Very comfortable beds. friendly staff, willing to help in everything. The only disadvantage is that everything is heard, we tried to rest but all the noise from the corridors was heard ( people out and in and the roommate cleaning).
