We spent 2 nights at MILOS COVE during our 3 week vacation, where we stayed at other 5 star resorts throughout Greece including, Kivotos in Santorini, Kalesma in Mykonos, Acro Wellness Suites & Domus Renier in Crete, and King George in Athens. I would rate every other hotel a 5 star and MILOS COVE a 3 for these reasons. Arrival: We received information regarding the dirt road prior to arrival and rented an SUV. Regardless of this, it is VERY difficult to find the hotel with no road signs on treacherous one lane dirt roads. We did make a wrong turn and it took us over an hour to try to find our way using navigation which was not always updating due to service on the mountain. There should be signs directing guests to the hotel off of the main road and more direct instructions with a drawn map on how to get to the hotel. The golf cart guys are very friendly and helpful. The check in is AWFUL! We walked into a DARK sterile room and stood at a counter to check in. There was no offer for cold cloth, welcome drink, or comfortable place to sit. We then received a tour of the facilities which was fine, but quite honestly we just wanted to get to our room and relax. The room or the pool patio is where check in should be. The pool view is beautiful! The metal cabanas however are bad! They shake and make a constant annoying rattling noise that does not allow you to relax. The fact that the pool is only open when the lifeguard is there from 11:00-6:00 is ridiculous. No other pool opened at 11:00 or required a lifeguard to be there to use. It is an adult only resort?? The lifeguard and bartender at the pool were very friendly. The spa tour was weird, describing rooms to sit in and meditate. The gym is poor. Not much there and what equipment they have is old and beat up in a dark dungeon like room. The pool suite we had was not at all private. You can easily see into the rooms next door. There was a dirt road directly in front of the pool, ruining the view of the sea where staff drove. The suite itself is impractical and plain. No labels on any of the switches which we were constantly turning on all the wrong lights. The mini fridge has nothing in it but one bottle of water, which they promote as a special bonus you get each day. No snacks. No robes. No comforter, sheets only on the bed. The amenities are cheap Garnier. There is no counter space in the bathroom, the sink takes up every bit of the space. The shower leaks a large amount of water into the bathroom area. There is a sign on the beach towels telling you if you take them you will be charged $40 per towel - TACKY. A bottle of champaign was included in our package. After arrival we received a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and 2 worn out plastic glasses. We did not receive any other food treats as in every other hotel. No beach bag or hats, we did receive a string bracelet that was supposed to take away any bad feelings. The staff at the restaurant are unprofessional and unfriendly. One waitress br
