The hotel is on a very rural area of Scicily, a short walk from a town called Milo. The hotel is nice and clean. It may look rustic on the outside, but inside it feels modern and maintained. The terrace both boasts a grand view over the valley and a direct view of the very active Volcano Etna. Raffaele the owner, chef and multitasker and his staff makes sure you have a pleasant stay. He makes a mean Espresso to wake you up in the morning.

Lovely friendly staff and lovely hotel but away from everything except Etna very limited transport available. Etna is worth a visit best to take one of the organised tours for the best experience.

Maybe hotel has changed hands because it was not as represented on Trip Advisor. Friendly, helpful staff but breakfast (9 euro) was not as shown in pictures and rooms were far more basic than represented. Basically a 5 out of 10. We have found better accommodations for the same price.

I can highly recommend this place. Such a lovely place and the location is really good, close to Etna, where you can easily make day trips. The host, Raffaele, is very kind-hearted and always ready to help everyone. His kindness, helpfulness and positive attitude shines through. I wish him and his family all the best.

Abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte, purtroppo, ma ci è bastata per poter definire questo piccolo hotel come un’esperienza da rifare. Siamo stati accolti dal gentilissimo Raffaele e dalla moglie Agata, abbiamo avuto il piacere di fare un aperitivo in un angolo accogliente e comodo dell hotel, Raffaele ci ha coccolati con dei vini buonissimi e un tagliere eccellente. La cena buonissima e il servizio ottimo. Davvero complimenti Raffaele!!! Un saluto da Floriana e la bella compagnia ! Alla prossima!

Ho festeggiato la mia laurea da Raffaele e non avrei potuto fare scelta migliore! Ingredienti di qualità e di stagione, vino ottimo ,servizio e tempistiche perfette e professionalità da vendere! La meglio cosa è LA vineria a Milo! Consigliatissimo per eventi ma anche per una serata conviviale con amici!

Sono appena tornato da una vacanza scopo relax (pienamente raggiunto). Il titolare Raffaele fa le cose con amore, a cominciare dalla cura di piante e fiori e il pollice verde. Il terrazzino è adorabile, ideale per un pasto genuino e romantico (cucinato dallo stesso Raffaele) oppure per un aperitivo sotto le stelle ascoltando musica. Ma anche il salottino interno merita, è curato e d'atmosfera. Le stanze sono pulite (merito del gentilissimo Rosario) e accoglienti. La posizione è strategica sia per raggiungere il centro di Milo a 800 metri, sia per andare nel bellissimo bosco dell'Ilice che per escursioni sull'Etna oppure, tramite mezzo autonomo, raggiungere le zone di mare (Fondachello, Fiumefreddo, Giardini). Buonissimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliatissimo.
