We stayed at the Dylan Hotel on both ends of a 3-week trip to Europe and it was such a pleasant experience both times. The hotel itself is charming. The rooms are comfortably furnished, and each one has a record player and several albums to play on it—a treat for our 8-year-old! In addition, the lobby is well stocked with snacks and drinks—including adult beverages—as well as games and books for all ages. The staff is very pleasant, and the location is ideal for getting to and from SFO quickly and easily. We also took advantage of the long-term parking option, and the location of the garage is very secure.

For the price, we were surprised and how nice the hotel was. The lobby was well organized, competently staffed and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well equipped. Hotel hired taxis to ferry guests to the airport due to a shortage of shuttle capacity. We would definitely stay here again.

If you were driving by you'd think, typical old-school motel. But management has done a very nice job updating and upgrading the property. They added security barriers with key access so their isn't a ”parking lot entry” to room like a typical mote. Hardwood floors, marble bathroom, faux fireplace, decent bed and linens makes this a good deal. One tip, there is a second floor on one part of the property, be sure to get either a ground floor room away from that or the second floor as the ceiling is very ”echo-y” and you can here everything upstairs.

This is a great little hotel that would be ideal for business trips. We traveled as a family with kids for a short trip and it was still great for that purpose; free parking and small grounds were quiet with no issues. There is an excellent sushi restaurant attached to it, a hidden gem and probably best part of staying here. We ate there for several dinners because it was so convenient for the kids and go straight to bed rather than venture out for meals after a long day out. The hotel room itself was nothing to write home about but always clean, and housekeeping stocked us up well. Also, there was a small kitchen inside our room so we could wash dishes, microwave and refrigerate leftovers, and even a stove and oven if needed. Free Breakfast was just a small room with some pre-packed pastries and hard boiled eggs, toast, juice, etc. so don’t expect too much there. But the location was perfect for our needs. There was also a pool and tastefully-decorated lounging area that was mostly empty, along with a gate leading into the courtyard that made it feel safe. All in all, a decent spot to stay for a short trip.

If I were to fly to SFO, this Grand Hyatt would definitely be my first choice. It’s just three or four stops away on the red line. Just go downstairs and you’ll find the front desk. It’s different from traditional American hotels. It has a full range of supplies, including slippers (on the top of the closet). In addition to toothbrushes and toothpaste, you need to bring them yourself. It comes with everything else, even a kettle... There is a capsule coffee machine, the room is quite large, the sound insulation is very good, the bedding is comfortable, and there is nothing wrong with it except that it is expensive. If you arrive early and have a room, early check-in can be negotiated, and you can lie down directly for a few dozen dollars.
