B&B Varadero

With my wife I spent a weekend (extended by the Liberation Day) in Milazzo as guests of the "Varadero" b&b. The location is strategic, the b&b is in fact located a few meters from the port and is therefore particularly convenient for those who intend to "drop by" the Aeolian Islands. The structure, recently built, is furnished with simple and elegant taste and is equipped with all the services that make your stay comfortable. The prices are reasonable, indeed, I would say convenient. The only shortcoming is the breakfast which can be consumed at a bar below: unfortunately the granita is not worthy of the Sicilian tradition. The manager of the b&b, Giampiero, a very courteous and kind person, gave us suggestions for visiting the most beautiful places in the Messina town. The excursion to the "natural marine pool called Venus" was particularly appreciated. It is located at the extreme northern tip of the Milazzo peninsula and can be reached by following a natural path that runs along the promontory offering a splendid panorama of the Aeolian Islands; the last stretch consists of a long staircase that leads to sea level. It was not possible to visit the cave of S. Antonio di Padova as it was closed for work in progress. Returning to Milazzo without any doubt I will return to the Varadero b&b.

Sono stato in questo B&B per una notte. La struttura è molto carina, il titolare è gentile e disponibile. Il B&B si trova esattamente difronte ai traghetti che vanno alle Eolie. Non è semplicissimo trovare parcheggio nei dintorni quindi ipotizzo che in stagione alta sia anche difficile. La camera è dotata di ogni comfort e il Wi-Fi funziona bene. Venendo per lavoro mi avrebbe fatto comodo un punto di appoggio più grande rispetto a quello presente molto stretto. Unica nota dolente il materasso che si affossava e non è risultato molto comodo. Comunque consiglio la struttura e ci tornerei.
