Hotel Ausonia

Very, very, bad. The structure of the Ausonia hotel is stuck in the 70s. I don't think they've ever renovated anything. The room is cramped and the bathroom smells like sewer. The hot water doesn't work during rush hour and the boiler often blocks. The television doesn't get any channels. Only one elevator for an entire hotel, resulting in endless waits. They say they have parking, but that's not the case, there's room for very few rooms. The swimming pool is in total anarchy. The food is so-so, but the ingredients are of low quality. The only positive notes, for which I give two stars, are the excellent location, the good beach and the friendly staff.

I stayed in this hotel from July 8th to 19th, having to do some spa treatments I was looking for a structure near the spa but not to spend crazy amounts. Not having particular needs my choice fell here, I must say that the structure is certainly not luxurious or modern but well kept in order and clean. The room (at least I speak for mine) not very big but simple and essential, with a balcony overlooking the sea air conditioning and TV (you couldn't see many channels but then again who would go on holiday to Milano Marittima to stay in a hotel and watch TV????), bathroom with shower I must say really clean and the girls who redid the rooms were kind, quick and impeccable (maybe I'm someone with few needs.....) given the reviews. The restaurant I must say is truly excellent, a buffet of appetizers that is truly varied and can satisfy anyone, from fish to cold cuts to cheeses to vegetables, pizza, chips, mussels, gratin scallops etc. etc. in 12 days I have not eaten the same dish twice (if you are on a diet... avoid it!) a choice of 3 first courses, 3 second courses, fruit and dessert always available, not to mention the breakfast, sweet, savoury, yogurt, eggs, bacon, and broches of all kinds, obviously all under the careful and kind coordination of the head waiter Katia who directs the staff in a masterly manner! everyone is courteous and ready to satisfy the needs of the guests. The swimming pools are in fact in the hotel next door (same ownership) but are no more than 50 metres away. I will not forget the kind and attentive welcome from the reception staff, who are truly professional! Congratulations to everyone, we felt at home.... Goodbye.

Siamo stati bene nel complesso. Pasti davvero buoni e personale allegro e sempre con il sorriso. Soprattutto ci terrei a ringraziare il cameriere Alessio (ha i capelli biondi) per la sua gentilezza ,disponibilità e professionalità nello svolgere il suo mestiere.

La mia esperienza èstata positiva, in particolar modo ho apprezzato il servizio impeccabile di Alessio (il biondo) sempre gentile e super disponibile! Cibo buono ed abbondante. Tornerò ancora volentieri il prossimo anno per il festival latino!

Premessa: ho chiesto telefonicamente un preventivo per 4 notti, da giovedì con checkout lunedì. Mi inviano il preventivo e io stupidamente non controllo che le date siano quelle richieste, guardo il prezzo: 30 euro a notte, e accetto il preventivo. Scopro l'errore solo quando chiedo il rimborso per le ultime notti, per scappare da quel posto infernale. Scopro quindi che il costo era 40 euro a notte, per un servizio che anche 30 sarebbero stati troppi. Camera: letto matrimoniale fatto con due letti singoli uniti, accettabile se non fosse che sia letto che materasso erano distrutti, i due materassi si separavano a ogni movimento e una molla del materasso è salutata appena ci siamo sdraiati. Un solo comodino a lato del letto, l'altro abbandonato di fianco all'armadio, ho dovuto sistemarlo io per cercare di tenere uniti i due letti bloccando entrambi i lati, è stato comunque inutile, letti talmente sfondati che dopo due notti avevamo la schiena a pezzi. Bagno: la porta sembrava stata aggredita da un animale feroce, o presa direttamente da uno scantinato di un film horror. Nessun ripiano in doccia e due miseri appendini per ogji altra esigenza. Sopra la doccia una bella macchia di muffa a farci compagnia. Lavandosi l'acqua risultava viscida e maleodorante. Nonostante tutto saremmo anche rimasti, se non fosse che la mattina alle 8 iniziano a martellare ininterrottamente sopra la nostra camera. Chiamo l'albergo e chiedo spiegazioni, ovviamente alterata dal poco sonno e da un prezzo spropositato per una camera fatiscente e una sveglia da cantiere. Chiedo di farli smettere, visto che è fuori da ogni logica pagare una stanza e essere svegliati a martellate. Dopo 20 minuti ricominciano. Scendiamo e chiediamo immediatamente il rimborso, ovviamente pagando comunque l'ultima notte a prezzo pieno nonostante il disservizio. Scappiamo in un hotel a pochi chilometri di distanza, 30 euro a notte e un servizio impeccabile. Consiglio vivamente di cercare altrove.

Vorab: die schlechten Bewertungen hier können wir nicht nachvollziehen! Ja, die Zimmer sind wirklich klein. Jedoch war alles super sauber! Auch am Empfang wurde uns immer freundlich geholfen. Das Buffet war reichhaltig und das Essen im allgemeinen lecker. Einen Pool gibt es nur im Partnerhotel nebenan, was uns nicht gestört hat. Dafür waren pro Tag zwei liegen und ein Sonnenschirm am Strand gratis dabei. Für den bezahlten Preis war das super! Dazu trotz der vielen Familien im Hotel sehr ruhig!
