Hostel 3

Stayed one night in this hostel, so far so good. Here in Milan is summer now. The room was spacious with bunkbed for 10 persons. During night is very hot , they provided fan, toilet and bathroom. Free wi fi. No breakfast at all. All the rooms in 3rd floor of that building. Upon check in , i charged 14 euro for tax. Overall, good services. This hostel very suitable for backpackers and budget travelers.

This is the worst hostel I ever stayed, the ceiling of the bad is so low that I can’t even sit upright, the room supposed to have 9 beds, but it actually had 11 beds. There is only one fans to share for 11 beds. (Beware) The room rate may appears reasonable, but I had to pay more than 11 Euro/night upfront via online payment before I am allowed to enter the room. It ended more expensive than others. Check-in is via WhatsApp & it is not easy for those who are not familiar with it. There is a sheet of plastic between the mattress & the bedsheets and make it so hot & uncomfortable when you sleep on it.

They have bed bugs. They know they have bed bugs and they rent beds anyway. They gave me my money back after i insisted (They had had an outbreak the week prior so they knew I was not making it up. I also had bite marks to prove it. I had also left the facility in the middle of the night as soon as i had showered after realizing i was being bitten.) Their unapologetic, nonchalant attitude the following morning was upsetting and hard to believe. (“We disinfected, so what else am we supposed to do? How do I know you didn’t bring the bed bugs with you? ” was the response the guy gave me.I have no doubt they are going to rent my same bed to someone else tonight. There were at least 5 people in the room with me last night. I don’t think they understand what they are exposing people to. They should be severely fined. Hanno cimici dei letti. Sanno di avere cimici dei letti e affittano letti lo stesso. Mi hanno rimborsato dopo che ho insistito (avevano avuto un outbreak la settimana scorsa quindi sapevano che non me lo stavo inventando. Avevo anche segni di morsi in vari parti del corpo. Avevo anche lasciato l’ostello nel mezzo della notte subito dopo essermi lavato, che ho fatto subito dopo mi sono accorto cosa mi stava morsicando.) L’attitudine di indifferenza e freddezza con cui mi hanno parlato nel mattino nel giorno dopo è stato frustrante e scioccante. “Abbiamo disinfettato quindi che altro ci posso fare? Come posso sapere che non sei stato tu a portare i cimici alla stanza?” Non ho nessun dubbio che affitteranno lo stesso letto a qualcun altro stasera. Eravamo in almeno 6 persone nella stanza ieri sera. Non credo che si rendono conto a quale rischio stanno esponendo i clienti. Dovrebbero essere severamente sanzionati.
