Hotel Poma

Booked through Booking in the morning, two of us showed up. One of us had the digital document and the other paper. It was 10pm, outside the downpour, just returned from a trip. We were supposed to stay 3 nights. We didn't even enter before we were immediately stopped and told that they couldn't accept the digital document. They sent us to the police station in via Poma to request a certificate of recognition to stay in that hotel, we were told that there was no way such a document could be obtained. having returned to the hotel to explain after having wasted over 20 minutes we were told that we should have gone to the police station near the central station (distance about 40 minutes, in all this it was now 10.30 in the evening with bad weather). We would have been left without a place to sleep in Milan not knowing if it would have been successful at the police station. Obviously due to tiredness we LUCKILY decided to call a different hotel which welcomed us immediately without problems. However rude receptionist, dark place.

Fake 3-star hotel. Non-existent breakfast. No tablecloths, no napkins. A snack and an old croissant....Room without curtains and with broken fixtures. Crazy price but in Milan everything was full. The only valid thing is the location 100 meters from suburban bus and train. 1 star hotel not even. the most ridiculous breakfast I've ever had in a hotel

They refused my card having all the required requirements and when I asked for explanations by telephone they were unable to give them to me, they attributed part of the blame to the booking site and its functioning. I changed my credit card, thinking there was actually a problem with the first one. they still canceled my reservation a few days before the trip without any reason and without any explanation. When contacted on the phone they offered to book the same room which they obviously canceled for me at a different price. I strongly advise you against booking and relying on them for your stays in Milan. From the other reviews I have read on the internet, it is not the first time that what happened to me has happened.

I only stayed one night for a fair, prices skyrocketing obviously but above all a hotel of unique squalor: dark, sad, depressing like few others. It seems stuck in the 60s. Avoid it if you can. Terrible manager and not friendly at all
