Hotel Studio Inn Centrale & Milano Urban Padel

Modernly furnished hotel in a somewhat decentralized location in Milan with clean and large rooms and bathrooms. Comfortable bed. The hotel's own parking spaces in the underground garage are a little difficult to find with a fairly narrow entrance. Nice service. Hotel surroundings are not very inviting overall, about a 10-minute walk to the metro and from there another 10-15 minutes to the cathedral.

I don't usually write a negative review, but if I book a four-star hotel I expect a four-star service. First of all, the shower was not intuitive at all, after half an hour we understood how it worked. It would have been enough to give us a couple of tips at check in. The remote control didn't work, I look, the batteries were missing. For work reasons we had to leave the hotel early in the morning and they gave us the parking remote control to go out, asking us if we would take it back to reception because there would be no one at the parking lot. At check in they also forgot to give us the parking remote control and only remembered when we were already leaving for dinner. The breakfast, usually a buffet, was not available and so they offered to have it brought to my room, excellent, too bad it was delivered earlier than the indicated time. Lastly, we asked for the invoice and once we received it there were some errors. Now nobody is perfect, but the shortcomings seem a bit too many for a 4-star hotel!

The structure is very clean and tidy, just a little complicated to find. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need for cleaning and rest, including the safe and minibar, apart from the pillow which has practically no thickness. I used the duvet as a second pillow. Very basic breakfast, with no great choices, but there is a basis for making it. It would get boring after a few days as it never changes. The coffee is very good, truly of quality. Well done! Another positive note to the staff, whose names I do not remember exactly apart from Salvatore and a girl who was often present in the morning, but all very kind and available for everything! Why did I put 4 dots and not 5? I'll explain it to you right away: Next to and below the structure there is a large and convenient supermarket, which is why, when it happens, the staff of the supermarket also works there at night. So it could happen "like me on the first night" to hear the trolleys walking even until 2 am or from 6 am. Situation that I would say rather unacceptable! It is almost impossible to sleep! If the next day I had not been offered a room change, much farther from the supermarket I would have given 1 dot, because rest at night makes up 50% of the stay. This is the only negative note.
