Great place!

tl;dr: We were scammed + I discovered bed bugs . My colleague and I each booked a room (my colleague 2 weeks ago for 70 €, me the day before for 170 €). On our train trip to Milan, my colleague received an email telling him his reservation was cancelled because apparently his credit card (which he has been using all day) was invalid. Upon arrival, they told us there was nothing he could do because they had rebooked his room, presumably for the higher price of 170 €. . I got suspicious about hygiene when I read other reviews, but my room reaked of chlorine so I aired out and stayed there for the night. The next morning, I noticed the hair dryer was dusty, so I got suspicious again. Found more dust behind the TV. Then I pulled the bed sheets off... Underneath I found hair and bed bug feces! . Also: No proper blanket. The night was too cold. Ironically, I'm glad because the blanket would have likely had bugs too.

A friend of mine was robbed in Milan while passing through on a day visit to get back to the UK. His phone was stolen along with all of his bank cards. He also missed his flight back to the UK. In order to support him for the night, a hotel was paid for so he had somewhere safe while he waited for a flight the next day. Despite the reservation having been confirmed, the hotel said that there was no such reservation. We explained that any issues could be sorted the next day but they refused him admittance to the hotel. A vulnerable individual was therefore thrown out on the streets of Milan, in a country he has never been to before. He was consequently involved in a serious accident and ended up in the hospital. It is a disgrace that hotels like this are still allowed to operate, showing no human kindness or compassion.

For a 3 night reservation of 250 euros, they tried to withdraw 25000 thousand euros, yes twenty five thousand euros, from my account. Then they withdrew all the money in my account, 1500 euros. I still don't understand how they did it. I made the reservation in June. I made the payment then. But they put a temporary hold on it and didn't take the actual payment. This happened to me the day before my reservation date. They tried to withdraw 25 thousand euros from my account for 3 nights. I didn't have that much money in my account. Instead, they withdrew all the money in my account, 1500 euros.
