I don't know why the score for this hotel isn't higher.
The location is good, (I went walking to the train station as well as to Duomo), staff are very friendly, the room is clean, the price is fair.
If I had to make something better would be the soundproofing as I am a light sleeper but I think it's an Italian thing, their houses are just like that. Anyway, contributing with my 5 stars here.

We had everything we needed and it was perfect. Cheap, friendly staff and the breakfast was not half bad, a little limited but it was only €10 buffet each so we won’t complain. Beds were comfy and we also had a mini fridge!

Although the facilities are a bit old, they are cleaned very well and the room is quiet and comfortable. Holding the old-fashioned key, there is also a sense of Roman history. The service staff is very kind and recommended me a very good Roman specialty restaurant.
