I booked a room at Crossing Manzoni based on the wonderful reviews. I'm an artist and appreciate beautiful design. Sadly, I did not have a good experience there. It is lovely, quiet, the bed and linens super comfortable and my room was decorated in what I'd call a minimalist contemporary style. My room shared a little lounge with coffee, tea, Milanese biscuits, water, and a microwave. The location is great, steps from the cathedral, the galleria and Rinascente. However for me, a woman traveling alone in an unfamiliar city, with only slight knowledge of Italian, it was the wrong choice. The website says the concierge is only there during business hours- I didn't realize that absolutely no one is there before 8:30 or after 6:30. Sean, the concierge who wrote me lovely emails, was not there during my short stay, but Sabrina helped me find a great restaurant and booked a taxi for me for my morning flight. I had to leave at 7:30 AM so I was on my own getting downstairs and outside but because I was concerned about the taxi showing up she gave me her cell phone number, which I appreciated. Little things like the key to the room not working well and a giant crack in the full length mirror, gave me the impression that some things are not well attended to. I don't normally write negative reviews but I honestly wish I had stayed somewhere that would have been more full service and I think potential guests should consider whether they want to stay in what is really more of a beautiful apartment.

Absolutely gorgeous, chic, welcoming and super comfortable right in Milan's best location. 10/10, we would return in a heartbeat. We have high standards and could not fault the place. This will be our permanent go-to whenever in Milan. Grazie mille, Francesca and Sean xx

We returned to Crossing Manzoni several months after our first visit. We found that “home away from home” atmosphere that we like so much and we had already experienced. Staff is very professional, kind and available to help with request and provide advice. Location is beautiful as already described. A very pleasant confirmation… we will return!

Amazing stay at a very special hotel Crossing Manzoni has to be one of Milan’s best kept secrets. I’ve stayed in lots of small luxury hotels and this experience was exceptional. The quiet central location is excellent, with the best shopping, restaurants and cultural attractions just around the corner. And if you like somewhere chic and authentic, Crossing Manzoni feels more like staying in a friend’s super stylish Milan apartment than a conventional hotel. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and elegantly designed with a real personal touch. And the outstanding personal service helps create an atmosphere that is both relaxed and intimate. Sean and his team were absolutely charming, incredibly knowledgeable, and really went the extra mile to look after us and make our stay truly special. We were thrilled with the restaurants they booked, they even helped us arrange an impromptu photoshoot. I couldn’t recommend Crossing Manzoni highly enough, and will definitely be going back!

Everything at Crossing Manzoni was smooth from check in to check out. Very professional team headed by Alfie and special thanks to Shaun and also Alfie for providing the beautiful bouquet of flowers on her Birthday. We definitely will be back. Only improvement would be to have the TV and Sky switch in with one button and also to have some English Channels.

Two thumbs up for Crossing Manzoni. The owners have forged a new model in which they have created extremely comfortable rooms located in a prime location, along with a great concierge to help and provide assistance for anything you might need, but without the extras that many of us don’t use to begin with at a hotel (gym, spa, restaurant, lobby). The concierge was super nice and thorough, handling our requests prior to our arrival and then after our arrival with aplomb. Note that the concierge is only there during normal working hours, which could impact night-time arrivals. But I’m sure they have a way to deal with that. The location couldn’t have been better, as it was just a few minutes’ walk to the central tourist areas of Milan, near a couple of metro stations, and just steps away from high-end shopping, if that’s what you are looking for. Each room is unique. We were very happy with the Spiga room we selected. The TV was finicky, but the owner said they are working on it. WiFi was very fast. We really enjoyed our time there and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful boutique hotel which is located right in the heart of Milan with a range of amenities on your doorstep. The attention to detail in the hotel is faultless, with plush furnishings and one-of-a-kind artwork. The General Manager, Sean was very attentive and friendly upon check in and offered great tips on local restaurants whilst ensuring that we were well looked after. A wonderful stay in an amazing city!
