Palazzo Cordusio, a Gran Melia Hotel

I booked three rooms at the Palazzo Cordusio for a family trip in April 2024 (for myself and my parents, daughter, and brother). I was a bit nervous about booking a brand new hotel, but it exceeded my expectations. Location is extremely central, just around the corner from the Duomo, so it worked perfectly for our short trip, as we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go, and it was easy to hail a car or take public transportation when venturing further. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They delivered a gorgeous dessert and champagne spread for my parents' anniversary, and left delicious pastries from their in-house bakery in our rooms each afternoon. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, even in this busy area of the city. The rooftop restaurant, Isola, was delicious, as was the breakfast spread (our rate included a buffet and made to order items). Everyone at the hotel went above and beyond. The lobby bar is very beautiful if busy! Visit earlier in the evening. As I was traveling with my daughter, I didn't have a chance to visit the spa area, but my husband and I are heading back in July, so we'll give it a try then!

Beautiful hotel. Staffs are very friendly. Prime location. Restaurants are very good. I highly recommend this hotel. The ceiling is very high in the room, which maoes the room very spacious. However the cleaning staff is lack of training and can’t speak the are minimum English. I stayed in room 206, a bad smell in the washroom. Overall our stay is fantastic! I would definitely coming back. Maybe not room 206 but for sure coming back.

This is a beautiful renovated hotel with a wonderful terrace and a great staff. However the side of the building we stayed at is extremely noisy. There is a city tram that drives by every 20 min and vibrates and make this unpleasant sound which makes it extremely hard to sleep. I thought it will be fine at night time but it operates 24/7. ******* mentions that there is a train station near by but I couldn’t find any reviews mentioning that. The property agreed to cancel our second night but ******* refuses to refund the reservation since its on me to do this due diligence apparently. Very disappointed fir this level of hotel at this price point.

I’m a handicapped. I was too tired and needed just a sofa at the lobby for 20 mins and a coffee. Melia hotel was closed for the private party. Anyway, the manager allowed me to sit inside the very distingue interior and to have my coffee. The high level of services starts from the empathy! If the hotel helps not only to its guest and is opened to all adequate people it generates hotel’s success. Kindest regards to the manager and the doorman who helped me. Next my visit to Milano will be with this beautiful hotel.
