Hotels Near Chinatown in Milan

The location is very good. It is located in Chinatown, which is very convenient for eating Chinese food. It takes half an hour to walk to Milan Cathedral, Brera Art Gallery, and Leonardo da Vinci's ”The Last Supper”. The room is fully equipped with classical furniture and is clean and hygienic. The front desk receptionist is enthusiastic and proactive, and luggage storage is free. It's great!

The Conceirge, Savo, went above and beyond and completely exceeded our expectations when assisting us with travel plans. The room was cleaned twice daily. Front desk staff were all professional and kind. The food was wonderful. Our room had a lovely view of the park. We enjoyed the walk to the Duomo and charm of the surrounding area. We were happy with everything this hotel had to offer.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and it was not so good that we expected. First of all we were provided with the number on the 2d floor right next to the kitchen room. The staff started the preparation for the breakfast at about 6 am and we heard all the corespondent noise, and moreover at 7am ppl joined and the noise started getting louder :). But everything would be ok if the night club was not located right on the first floor, all nights from 9pm until 4am we listened the club deep house etc :) and you have only 2 hours to sleep before the breakfast party :) So, to summarize, in case you plan to stay at this hotel be sure you’re not on the second floor ;) P.S. there’re no fridge and drinking water in the rooms, in case it’s important for you ;)

Too much money for the value I received. They gave me a quiet room, i guess, as I requested. I did not have the time to check because when I intered the room I was struck by a strong and unpleasant odor. I am not so fussy but this time it was bad enough to make me go to the reception to ask for another room. I got one which smelled ... Like somebody stayed there. Or like a room which was not cleaned well. It has the most buzzard bathroom I have ever seen: there was a wall in the middle of of the room leaving only 0.5m to get from the sink or the shower to the toilet seat. Between the toilet seat and the bidet there were at most 30cm. Seating on the toilet seat you would literally have the bidet between your legs. The shower cabin was so small that I, having a little bit broader shoulders, was hitting it when turning and wiping. The appliances showed a lot of wear and tea. In the shower cabin there was only one shower head, fixed on the ceiling. No mobile shower head. Yes, they had furniture that you find in expensive hotels. But that was a bit damaged. There is a lot of marble at the reception but that does not improve the room I stayed in. And I found something in the room that looked like a little rock ... Or a nasty toe nail. The overall impression is that of a once very nice 4-stars hotel that was not and is not taken care of correctly. I have been in many 3-stars hotel that looked better than this, with large bathroom and shower cabin everything new and working perfectly, that have a much more reasonable price. Again, too expensive for what they are offering.

This is my second time at Hotel Tocq, there’s no better recommendation than that. The location is great, near Garibaldi station so not far from the central station either but in a much nicer and safer area. Well connected with metro, tram and suburban train. Walking distance to a lot of nice areas. The breakfast buffet is rich, it has a lot of savoury and sweet options and also caters to vegans and lactose intolerant. The staff is friendly and quite helpful. I would only improve on some things included in the room: -the slippers (there’s always one pair instead of two, but they will give you the other if requested); -there’s no where to put the soap so maybe a hand soap dispenser would be better than the bar soap; - for lingerie stays it could be useful to have somewhere to store the clothes, am armoire or some drawers.

Room is nice and cozy albeit a bit small if you intent to use the desk for work since it also has the TV and tea on it. Shower water pressure is also strong and they provide travel toiletries! The staff is very friendly and helpful and has extra things at the front desk. Location is very good, about 7 min walk to the station. Sometimes if it’s very quiet, there is a very light shaking from the trains going by from time to time which I find somehow endearing too.

The facilities are old and the hygiene is poor. There is a layer of dust in the wardrobe, see the photos. Although it is marked as a four-star hotel, it cannot catch up with the domestic three-star hotel. The overall cost performance is low and it is not recommended.

The Metro station (of the new line) is a bit further away from the hotel (around 15-20 minutes walking) though, there is a tram next to the hotel that will take you to Duomo in 10 minutes, even late at night when the metro is already closed. I personally very much like the area because if you take the nice 15 minutes walk (very nice area BTW, lots of supermarkets!) you will reach the center in 3-4 metro stops without having to change lines. The hotel is just as nice as a 3-stars hotel can be. I had an economy double room which was tiny but clean and neat. Lots of towels, shower gels.

Very comfortable and cozy hotel. Ideal for those going on a cruise. Convenient location. Very close to the railway and seaport. Breakfast was good, everyone will find something to their liking. Nice bright room, clean bed linen. The house has everything you need.

Beautiful place. This is the only hotel i feel safe in milan. Unfortunately all the hotels in milan they are aggressive even i stayed 3-4star hotels
