Beautifylly renovated rooms in the old manor! The hotel is located in a lovely place by the Lake Saimaa, where you can also go swimming. Great breakfast. We just loved our stay in this historical place. While our vidit, there was no possibily for dining however. Check for dining in advance.

None of the advertised qualities were true. There was weddings and other parties throughout our stay. There wasn’t any peace and quiet. Music and party was really loud when we were trying to sleep. Drunken guests were banging doors and making noise in the night. Maybe this is a better place for people who like to party but wrong place for any kind of relaxation. There also weren’t restaurants available as advertised since they only cater private parties. There was a small bistro at the lake but it had limited offering. I suggest that you look for a restaurant in Mikkeli instead of Kyyhkylä. The room also included access to sauna, but the sauna wasn’t turned on because the personnel had other tasks to attend to.
