Hotels Near Chuo Shinrin Park in Mihara

On the day of check-in, it was late at night because I came from China, so I had no choice but to book a hotel. I took a lot of things and I was about to take out my phone to show the order to the store. I didn’t expect it to be ready When I got up in the morning, because I caught the first bus, it rained heavily. I planned to go to the store to buy one of their old umbrellas. The store said that they could not refuse me, but he turned around and went back to the room and took this small umbrella. I, told me that although this umbrella is small, it should be ok. I don’t need your money and give it to you. As an international student, I am really moved.

Overall, the place was outstanding. First of all, they offered free breakfast, which was a very intimate benefit. Although the English skills of the service staff were slightly inadequate, their warmth and kindness were impressive. They are always happy to help whenever there is a problem or need. During our stay, they made sure we had a comfortable stay and that made us very grateful. Also, this place is located in Hiroshima, which is a great choice. Hiroshima is definitely worth a visit with its rich cultural and natural landscapes. You can visit historic temples, admire magnificent mountains and beautiful beaches, and taste local cuisine. The place is easily accessible and you can easily access nearby attractions and restaurants. All in all, if you have the opportunity to come to Hiroshima, I highly recommend this place as your accommodation choice. It not only provides comfort and intimate service, but also allows you to explore this beautiful place easily. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure holiday, this is a very good choice.

Conveniently located about halfway between Onomichi and Imabari along the Shimanami Kaido, WAKKA is much more than a halfway stop. Staying here is an experience you won’t forget for a while. Between us we had a cottage and a dome ‘tent’ both with views of the water & the Tatara bridge (across which we had cycled). We opted for the BBQ dinner on our deck & it was wonderful: sashimi appetiser, local seafood, vegetables & meat (amazing steak, boar sausages, chicken) as well as rice, dessert and mint tea! The hospitality here is so warm that we felt immediately welcomed. All the staff were lovely. Reika (from reception) suggested a trip to the local onsen (public bath) and provided a voucher as well as minibus shuttle (10 min way). This was a great experience and good way to relax after a day’s cycling. We enjoyed breakfast sitting on the cafe deck (great coffee) before we set off for another day of cycling. As well as cottages & dome tents, there are dormitory beds for a more economical stay. WAKKA also offers support to cyclists who aren’t staying at the hotel.

Truly excellent facilities. My friends and I were so impressed. It’s a hostel but you do get private spaces, basically giant cubicles with blinds and curtains to give you some privacy. Facilities were basic, but exceptionally clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful as well, despite seeming quite busy. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that the perfect hostel is still a hostel. You get people talking late into the night keeping you up with their mumbling. You have people snoring. It’s nothing the hostel can really do anything about, but it’s something to bear in mind.

This is a wonderful hotel, unfortunately we were put into the smallest room, one that was so small and filled with unusable furniture that there was no space for one guest let alone two. Getting around meant one person had to stay on the bed while the other crawled to the sink or shower room. The room was so tiny that staying in it was a constant source of tension, the kind of tension that can ruin a vacation. It was so small, it was almost impossible to step into the room and move aside so you could close the door behind you. There is a similar problem maneuvering into the shower. So if you want to stay in this hotel definitely ask not to be put in room 214. It's torture. Management would do well to remove the bed, the nightstand, the chair (which cannot be used because it has to be crammed so close to the small bed), and the small table next to the chair that also cannot be used. Replace the furniture with tatami, futons and a couple of pads to sit on. Now, moving on from the agitation of being sentenced to Room 214, this hotel has a lot going for it. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The hotel and the Onomichi train station share the same building -- a brand new building -- so as soon as you step off the train, you're at your hotel. Also, the building is completely soundproof. You will not hear or feel trains rumbling by or any noise from the bus and car traffic from in front of the hotel. The rooms have cathedral ceilings, not just high ceilings but vaulted ceilings, which I'm sure would have felt luxurious had we not been stuck in Room 214. The rooms also have high windows that give you a lot of ambient light and, I'm sure, great views from some of the rooms. Before being pointed to your room, you are brought to an amenity counter and allowed to take as many packets of luxury face washes, night creams and other cosmetics as you desire. A N'espresso machine and coffee capsules await you in your room. Once again, this is a wonderfully charming and modern hotel in a wonderfully charming and funky city. We plan to return to Onomichi when it is not so hot -- and stay in this hotel. But we'll ask for a larger room.

I spent a night here with my gf and it was a marvelous experience. They offer a luxurious dinner and breakfast experience that uses locally caught seafood and ingredients that will made your stay very pleasant. Located in a quiet area away from the city's hustle and bustle but still within walking distance from the local station and seaport. The staff were very hospitable and very thoughtful. The room offered a traditional Japanese bathroom with a tub made from cypress that gives a pleasant aroma when bathing. It has a nice outdoor view that you can enjoy from comfort of your own bathtub. The rooms a nicely appointed and have a 5-star experience that you can only experience at this ryokan. I would definitely recommend staying here if you ever visit Onomichi!

Hotel location: More remote, but there is a shuttle service, Fukuyama jr station and Hiroshima Airport are pick-up points. It is far from the nearest store or restaurant, and it is usually settled in the hotel. Hotel Package: The room is large, the sea view is first-class, the configuration is complete, even the curling irons are available. The public baths and gym are ok, and ice cream and drinks are available in the lounge area. Breakfast: Super super super super good, if you can, you must try the breakfast here. There are Japanese and Western styles. I chose Japanese style. It feels richer and more delicious than the dinner I had at the half board hotel the day before. . Hotel environment and service: The indoor and outdoor landscapes are very well done, the ribbon church is beautiful and the hotel service is in place. With a younger brother who can speak Chinese, tell us about the hotel. Many of the details of the check-in process can feel their high level of service. Although it is a four-star, it is better than the five-star service in China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan). If you look at the hotel's shape and location and price, it may not be easy to choose here. However, after checking in, I feel that the experience and service I received is matched with the price. If you are near Hiroshima or Seto Inland Sea, it is recommended to stay here for one night.

On Saturday, I booked and stayed in a room with my daughter and husband (１ talent and ４ grandson) and my husband and ６ people. The room was large and clean and the water pressure in the room bath was not a problem at all. My grandson was delighted to watch YouTube on a big TV! In the meantime, ３ people enjoyed drinking on the ２ floor and then went to the sauna on the １ floor. We were able to surround the table with everyone because we used breakfast while watching the congestion situation in the room. Curry was very delicious is! It's just that there is no way, but there are ２ elevators, but it's hard to come, and I can't ride it because it's full, and I felt stress every time.

Not much to say, I am very satisfied. It is quite satisfactory for a hotel I have stayed in Japan. The bed is very comfortable and the space is large enough. Fukuyama Castle is right next to it and you can also go sightseeing. Although there is nothing to see, it is recommended.
