Hotel Wiesenhof

There are not many tourists in the ski resort in summer, but the parking lot is packed with people. The room is super small, and the bathroom seems excessive in comparison. Do foreigners like to have parties in the bathroom? The surrounding environment is typical of the Alps, with mountains, grasslands, and people leisurely eating grass. There are many holiday villas on the back mountain, but there are few people around. It is indeed more cost-effective to stay here when traveling from Austria to the Dolomites. Set out early the next morning to experience the tranquility of the border town and the clouds and mist in the mountains and valleys. The scenery is more pleasant than similar mountainous areas in China, and if we just compare the natural scenery, it is more beautiful than Switzerland.

At first cute hotel, nice place and view and nice people. Then, people from my group entered their rooms: some beds were broken, others were crooked, paintings on the walls were hanging crooked (already showing the amount of attention the staff has for the hotel and the guests). All this could still be accepted, it is a ski hotel, luxury is not the priority, normal food should be but it certainly wasn't. Starting with the dinner: the hostess is seen with her hand in the container of food, chicken half raw, containers leaking, spoiled vegetables, hair found in the food. Only the desserts were edible. But the plates were only slightly rinsed; sauces on the back of the plates, dirty glasses. And then breakfast: all the food (milk, meats, cheese, etc.) was ready the night before, not in cold rooms, the juices tasted like water and sometimes eggs were not good either. As you can guess, some of my group got sick during the trip, which is a shame. The employees are polite, but I certainly wouldn't call them hospitable. Too bad, this hotel has great potential, but the people who don't even speak German don't seem to care.

Charming and very hospitable hotel, employees speak several languages, very helpful, very child-friendly. Kitchen open late, with adapted portions and menus for children. Breakfast very extensive and well maintained.. room was spacious, with 2 balconies. Swimming pool over the door, free entrance from 6 p.m.. open until 7 p.m. Quiet and peaceful in the evening in the hotel

Excellent value for money. The hotel is located in a strategic position near Innsbruck and the ski/sledding slopes. Very friendly staff, they helped us park the car as it was blocked following heavy snowfall. Unfortunately, the evening we stayed it was not possible to have dinner in the structure due to a private event, to make up for it they booked us a table in another restaurant a few minutes walk away. Spacious and very warm room. All the staff speak Italian. Only against the cost of breakfast.. €15.00 per person.

The town of Mieders is small, has a typical rural feel, the area is perfect for relaxing, the people are very friendly. The hotel is ***, is comfortably furnished with everything you need. Don't be fooled by the outside impression. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and never pushy. Perfect for couples or families, we highly recommend taking the Stubaitalbahn from Fulpmes to Innsbruck, you can save yourself the stress of driving.
