La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Salt Lake City Midvale

La Quinta is being renovated in 4/2025 and it’s stirring up the spiritual energy in the hotel and creating bad energy, ghosts don’t like their home to be changed, even if it’s for the better. The Indian man on staff is a total ****. They harass you at 1am if your next door neighbor is being loud!

Air conditioning and mini fridge in room were both quite noisy. I unplugged the fridge to reduce the noise.

I think someone lived in this room We got the apartment room. Which was on the second floor. Not bad but there’s no elevator. And being this isn’t the pretty side of town we brought everything in. Day 9 of a 10 day trip we had our fair share of stuff. The room - looks like someone lived there. It was just rough. Some water spilled and I dabbed it up. The towel was brown. The toilet runs for over an hour and the drain had lots of hair. The walls had some sort of spill and the mattresses were obviously slept in on the sides as there’s a large difference from the middle to the edge. Fabric had holes. Tables were missing the corners. Just - not good

Homeless people everywhere. Large dumpsters, sawing, dirty bathtub, carpet had not been clean. Homeless hot in a fight outside our window in the dumpster and woke us up. They were reminding and started sawing at 8am. Mattresses stacked in hallways. By far this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Cancelled the 2nd night and went elsewhere.

The staff was off putting and the property had police there at night as well as was just noisy and overall not a great experience

Doable but not great. Room was ok. Nothing really stuck out for the shape it was in. Just seemed old even though I think the remodeled. They were late getting breakfast ready. Toaster and waffle maker were having issues, they worked but not right. Coffee and juice didn’t work at all and the girl setting up seemed completely clueless and inexperienced. Didn’t even speak English. Tables were dirty and we were first in the area.
