Excellent room, clean and modern, super bathroom and shower, and breakfast thrown in. We ate there in the evening with two friends and all four of us were pleased with our meal, the price and quality and excellent service. A top find, in a great location.

If you're looking for somewhere to stay, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. Couldn't fault it and had good food and entertainment in the restaurant/ pub. The staff were all very helpful and friendly at all times. Will definitely stay there again if we're back in the area

We had a lovely room, which was large, bright and very clean. Check in was easy and the staff were really pleasant and helpful. We stayed on a Saturday night and even without the breakfast included it would have been good value. Having 24 hour access was also useful to us. The breakfast was fantastic! A really nice hotel.

Booked one of their 'premier' rooms but was allocated a standard room. Once I had had time to check on their website, there were no staff around to complain to. Room 5 was an OK double (small with no easy chairs) but I had paid extra for a Premier. The shower cubicle was the smallest I have EVER come across in a hotel. Luckily both my wife and I are not large! One of the mugs in the room had not been washed properly and the en-suite door would not open/close without undue force. Breakfast was OK but why must I nominate a time and menu choice the night before when nearly all breakfast items can be prepared to order in minutes? This is one of these places where it fells like they think they are doing the customer a big favour by allowing them to stay when they need to realise it is the customer who has a choice.

It was a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous and in a relaxed setting. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. We also had a drink in the bar when we got back one evening, which had live music and a great atmosphere.

I've never written a review on here before, but felt compelled to after a wonderful stay over the Easter weekend. I stayed four nights for work nearby and couldn't fault the hospitality I enjoyed, as the staff made a real effort to make sure I was comfortable. The room was comfortable and the food on offer was excellent. I enjoyed a top-notch Sunday roast and the sausage/bacon baps at breakfast were always freshly-prepared. The town itself is pleasant too. Would absolutely recommend it.

Stayed for one night, what a beautiful night! Friendly face at check in, shown to lovely spotlessly clean room and en-suite. Usual, tea, coffee available with added bonus of biscuits! Bathroom accessories shampoo, shower gel etc. Bathroom was spotless. Room was really good size. Breakfast was included in price, you are asked to tell them from a menu the night before what you want , which wasn’t a problem. Going downstairs for it, first you have a small choice of cold selection, you also help yourself to tea and coffee. Your cooked breakfast is then bought out , absolutely lovely, good products and good size portions. Have to say this hotel is exceptional value for money and will happily recommend and return.

On arrival there was plenty of parking if not at the hotel a free car park adjacent to the hotel. On entering we were greeted by Leanne who checked us in speedily and showed us to our room. My fist impression was that the hotel bar and restaurant area was large modern very nice decor, again our room decor was very nice a good size bed dressing table and chair, also a good size wardrobe too. The hostess tray had a good assortment and mugs rather than little cups. With being an old building the floor was slightly uneven but this is to be expected. The en-suite had bath with shower over and heated towel rail, good selection of toiletries as well. The down size of the bathroom for me was that it was very small being a large lady with mobility issues I could not get into the bath for a shower I also kept scalding myself on the towel rail as it is very close to the toilet. My husband was fine with the facilities it’s only because of my mobility and size that I struggled. What I really want to shout about is the excellent service from all staff nothing was too much trouble, service always with a smile they even put a bell on each table both in the bar and restaurant to call for service. We ate at the hotel both nights and the food was lovely if not sometimes rather on the large size especially the chilli, one portion would have been plenty for two. Outstanding dish salmon croquettes. We enjoyed it so much we have booked to go back for a little break next April. I have been assured I will be in a room with a separate shower and only a few steps to the room. Only one room was available when we booked for our previous stay. Forgot to mention breakfast included and was delicious to very good quality. So thank you to the team you all exceeded our expectations and we are a fussy couple. If we could go back before April we would.

The Kinderton is a comfortable, modern hotel with pub, restaurant and relaxing rooms. Jack checked us in quickly and efficiently. He is a great host and bartender. Food served was delicious. Emigine is a lovely, polite and professional waitress.
