This is our second stay in Brunswick House. We stayed last year as we ended the south Pennines way walk and we insisted on staying here again this year on the start of our north Pennines way walk, as we enjoyed it so much the first time. The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. The beds are very large and very comfortable. We had fresh fruit, water as well as home made biscuits in our room. Andrew told us where we could eat or go to in the village and cooked us the best breakfast in the morning. If you stay in Middleton in Teasdale, then you really should stay here. Full marks from us for the second year in a row. Many thanks.

A little gem on the Pennine Way. Comfortable rooms with fresh fruit alongside the tea / coffee tray. Fridge with a fresh bottle of milk, sparkling and still cans of water. Breakfast was amazing, so much to choose from! The host Andrew was very welcoming.

Lovely establishment. Room nice but compact. Highlight was the breakfast. In 20 years of walking from place to place and staying in different places every night, this was the best breakfast. Fresh fruit, cereals, cold meats, local cheeses, cooked options, pastries and two homemade cakes! All this and a great location for pubs and restaurants.

An exceptional stay en route on the Pennine Way. Peaceful, beautiful surroundings, a lovely room, fantastic breakfast and an outstanding packed lunch (home made salad box, rolls and chocolate brownies). Dinner in the evening across the road at the Teesdale Hotel was also lovely. A very welcome stop over.

This was a very comfortable spot to stay while walking the Pennine Way. Andrew is a great host, the breakfast choices were excellent, and the delicious packed lunch kept us going for two days! We also had a very good evening meal in the pub across the road.

Really cosy B & B in beautiful Teesdale. Everything thought about for your stay including fresh fruit in your room and an Easter Egg which was a fantastic touch. Lovely home cooked breakfast. The host is always on hand for any requests you might have.

This B&B retains the character and charm of older times while providing modern facilities and the cleanliness is second to none. I loved the open fire in the lounge. The beds, duvet and pillows were high quality and afforded a great nights sleep. The breakfast menu was plentiful. I chose the Full English and it was the best I have ever had. Andrew is a lovely host. I will definitely stay there again and I hope it will be soon.

Excellent stay last night. Everything we could have wished for a warm, quiet, relaxing and comfortable stay. The owners attention to detail is phenomenal, everything we need was provided and of exceptional quality, we would certainly return. Breakfast choices were amazing, our choice was fresh, beautifully cooked and nothing spared even though we were his only guests For the evening. It’s lovely to see someone work to an exception standard with pride in what he does. Thank you.
