Hotel room has very strong smelly oder of alcohol/urine which had been suppressed through chemical detergent,, carpet caused all family to get flu through allergy. The whole night, we couldn't sleep, the reason was upstairs, some sick/mentally ill person moving around the room back and forth in room, saw an ambulance next day as well. This hotel appears to be homing some mentally sick peoples rather tha real visitors.

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff close to public house for food free car park in site. Hour from Liverpool and 5 mile from Bury market great stop over for us travelling home would recommend this hotel room spacious with a bath and shower on first floor

The V Lodge made me feel so welcome, even in tough times. Sarah was skillfully kind and compassionate went above and beyond to make sure we was comfortable Chloe went above and beyond to make sure we was comfortable. The whole team is amazing - they're a real gem. This place is a diamond, they should call it Diamond Lodge 2.0

Bed was firm and very comfortable, the curtains overlapped which is something hotels forget, the bathroom was really nice. It was exactly what I wanted, a nice simple hotel, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pin on google maps is inside the pub next door, its just behind it. The bus stop coming in from the city centre is literally right outside, and the stop to get back is also right there, so it was really convenient. The wifi password is at reception, not in the room, so just remember to ask. Its nice and quiet, a way away from everything, but there's a pub right next door and some takeaways not far down the road. I'd book there again if I was back in Manchester.

Booked this hotel but changed mind and cancelled within the cancellation period. They took the money anyway, in fact the day before they should have done and now surprise surprise struggling to get money back. Avoid at all costs and don’t bother booking at all!

Scruffy place and the pub next to it was like walking onto the set of shameless. Nothing in the hotel is nice! Been in better tents. £100 for the night was £95 overpriced! Wipe your feet on the way out. Would rather have slept in the car! Needed a bath when I got home

The hotel was great but we parked in front of a sign saying guests only. But it was guests at the pub in front. We said where we had parked and asked to register at the V lodge but the staff said it was fine and no need to worry as the system wasnt working. The next morning I double checked about registering the car and different staff told me that I was in the wrong car park but they would sort it with the pub. Now I have got a message from the car hire company that I have been fined £100

Cancelled a week before my visit , leaving my group with no where to stay! Very disappointing when I booked 3 months ago in advance !!!!!! When I phoned to ask why , they replied with that they were overbooked , this seems suspicious as Parklife festival is the weekend of which we were supposed to stay , seems like they want to resell room s for a higher price. !
