The overall service is OK, the breakfast is monotonous, and the room was not cleaned during the 4-day stay.

Title speaks for itself. Our room had a window you couldn't open, meaning no fresh air could come into the room at all. The air con they had which was an supposed solution, left your room freezing cold as the heating option on it did not work for after you've cleared the air. Which after 3 nights you can imagine isn't pleasant. The bed was sunken in where it had been slept in so many times so it was a very uncomfortable sleep. Never seemed to a member of staff that wasn't bar or a cleaner. No main desk to help you with anything or attentive. I will say however, the bathroom and room was clean.

We stay here quite often and recommend it to our clients. My daughter travels with me and the staff are always so helpful when it comes to her food as she has special dietary requirements. Nigel is so nice and patient with her. He’s a credit to the hotel.

I was booked in to the town centre hotel, whilst working in the area. The team were amazing and so helpful, they got me ice when I needed it for a neck problem I had whilst there as well as an extra towel to put it in, and even got me an elastic band! In the restaurant the team were cheerful and remembered you from one day to the next, for example on the second night the lady remembered my drink order. As someone who has worked in hospitality and now trains people in customer service - I was very impressed, this service is few and far between these days. Thank you so much for looking after me! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here personally if I was in the area again.

Another quality Purple Palace with the standard room layout and facilities. The hotel was a little more noisier and the walls seemed thinner than other Prem Inns I have stayed at. Good breakfast and dining area with some onsite parking. If you are literally staying just over night though it was cheaper to park in the non-Prem Inn spaces and use the pay and display rather than the overnight Prem Inn rate.

This was the second time we have stayed there now. Rooms are very clean. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, especially Jillian at breakfast (which was lovely, and plenty to choose from) Plenty to do in the area. Car park is only £6 for 24hours.
