Robert Frost Mountain Cabins

This is our 4th or 5.th trip back th Robert Frost! It is in the middle of nowhere surrounded by beautiful mountains! The cabins are lovely, clean and meet your every need! The new owners have continued the wonderful service making sure your every need is met! It is the best place to sit on the porch and unwind! (We always stay in cabin 1. We think it has the best views!)

We spent 4 spectacular days at Robert Frost Cabins in late September, staying in the Blueberry Bend cabin. The setting is gorgeous, a mixture of forest and mountain views. We hike the Trillium Trail through the dense forest often. Each time there was more and more fall color. Our cabin was well-built and cozy with lots of amenities that aren’t typically associated with mountain cabins, including excellent WiFi. Our stay there was the essence of tranquility and I hope we get the opportunity to return.

I never write reviews but could not miss the opportunity to absolutely rave about this place! We found it online and had never stayed there before, which is always a risk. But, we were blown away by the cabin, the area and our entire experience here! There is not ONE detail of comfort & hospitality that the owners missed! The cabins are beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable. We stayed in Evening Star #6. The screen porch is where we spent most of our time. It is surrounded by woods on all sides. We heard and saw no one! This was the exact level of peace we were looking for this vacation. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay so pleasant and easy. From staples like coffee, tea, creamers, sugar, hot cocoa…to wood for the fire pit and marshmallow toasting sticks. We truly almost felt like we were in our own home! One of the owners, Marty, came by to see us to ask if we had any questions and to provide recommendations on the area. He was so helpful and so unobtrusive. A quick in and out. And….AND…homemade FROSTED cinnamon twists were delivered in a PICNIC BASKET with a warming stone to our doorstep…on our first morning there. They were so delicious and should be sold in every bakery in the New England area!! The area is just beautiful with so much to do! I cannot stress how perfect this get-away is! If you’re thinking of trying to book Cabin #6 for the next 4th of July, sorry! We beat you to it! We cannot wait to go back next year!!

I can’t say enough positive things about our girl’s getaway to the Robert Frost Cabin. The owners were so gracious, friendly, and helpful. The cabins had everything we needed and were extremely comfortable. In fact I bought the bed topper and pillow when I came home. I would highly recommend a vacation here and guarantee that we will be back. Thank you Jaime and Chris!

Hosts Chris and Jamie went out of their way to accommodate our girls weekend. From the personal greeting on the door to the warm special delivery of cinnamon twists we were all delighted to discover this gem in the idyllic hills of Ripton. Thank you for your hospitality. Maureen

As usual, our stay at Robert Frost Mountain Cabins exceeded our expectations. It is relaxing and lovely there. Everything is so well-appointed, and clean. The kitchen has everything you need. The large, screened porch is a favorite place to eat. There is a hot tub available as well. We have stayed here previously, and we plan to return at least once a year to de-compress and recharge our batteries in the reading nook and in front of the fire.
