Hotels Near Eimmart-Denkmal in Middle Franconia

The room and bathroom were very clean - the cleanest hostel I’ve been stayed in Europe! They also do decent breakfasts for a low price. Secure lockers. Staff were very helpful. Good location to explore Nuremberg. I can’t recommend this hostel enough. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Wir waren während eines heißen Wochenendes im August im Gasthaus Rottner, weil wir uns Nürnberg anschauen wollten und als Romantikhotel-Fans ein passendes Hotel suchten. Die ruhige Lage etwas außerhalb des Zentrums kam uns sehr entgegen und wir erhielten bei der Ankunft das Deluxe Zimmer 33 im gegenüber liegenden Gästehaus. Das war vom Architekten sehr kreativ gestaltet worden, denn die runden Bauelemente und Sitzmöbel passten ausgezeichnet zueinander. Selbst die Glastür zu dem modern und großzügig ausgestatteten Bad war halbrund. Sogar die Minibar befand sich in einer runden Konsole auf Rollen, auf der der 37 Zoll- Fernseher stand. So ließ sich der in die passende Richtung drehen. Die Minibar war spartanisch gefüllt, aber dafür im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen. Die Kleiderschränke waren geschickt in die Wände integriert und enthielten genügend Stauraum. Die elektrische Ausrüstung war sehr gut und ein Schreibtisch mit Lampe und Steckdosen war auch vorhanden. Gewünscht hätten wir uns allerdings eine Klimaanlage, denn die Temperaturen an diesem Wochenende hielten sich um 33°C und der zugestellte Ventilator brachte nur wenig Erleichterung. Der Internetzugang über das passwortgeschützte WLAN war ordentlich, denn ich habe im Download eine Übertragungsrate von 28400 kbit/s und im Upload sogar 34200 kbit/ gemessen. Am meisten bedauerten wir aber, dass das Restaurant am Sonntag und Montag geschlossen war, denn so konnten wir die Sterneküche überhaupt nicht genießen. Ein wenig bayerische Gasthausatmosphäre konnten wir lediglich in dem Biergarten erleben, der glücklicherweise am Sonntagnachmittag wegen des guten Wetters geöffnet war. Das Frühstücksbüffet mit einer hervorragenden Kaffeemaschine entsprach einem 4-Sterne-Hotel, es war nicht üppig und fast alles war in kleinen Portionsgläsern gekühlt abgepackt. Das war geschickt gelöst, denn so blieb auf den Tellern der Gäste nichts übrig. Sonderwünsche wurden von dem sehr freundlichen Servicepersonal gerne erfüllt. Alles in allem hat mir das Hotel sehr gut gefallen und ich werde bei einem weiteren Besuch von Nürnberg mit Sicherheit wieder dort übernachten, aber in jedem Fall nicht sonntags oder montags, wenn das Restaurant geschlossen ist.

We only booked this hotel as we were away on business and attending Biofach at the exhibition centre nearby. Of course prices went through the roof as an exhibition was on, my company £364 for a basic twin room per night / for 3 nights - over £1000 in total! When I arrived, yes the room was clean but I was suprised at how basic it was for the price, plus the fact it looked nothing like the pictures on trip advisor. I also looked on booking.com to see there was rooms available for that night for less than half of what we paid. I went down to reception and asked if there was any other rooms available as I felt our room was very poor quality for the price, and we overpaid compared to the current price for available rooms. I’ve never seen someone at reception seem to offended at such a standard question. She asked me ‘what my point was’, and insisted there were no rooms available except those that hadn’t been renovated. Answering my question if an available better room was available seemed impossible and she said I should speak to the manager the next day. However there was a very helpful woman who checked me in. Before I even got round to speaking to a manager the next day we decided to go the gym. Of course the gym isn’t signposted anywhere in the hotel, why would a key facility be? I asked the woman at the desk (who was on her mobile phone) where it was and she pointed ahead of her and said the door on the left after the glass door. There were 3 doors, of course none said gym on and they all looked the same. I picked one and ended up in the stock room. I went back and asked her to confirm again but she just pointed again as it must have been too much effort to walk round from the desk and show me. Of course I eventually found it, no air con, music or lights but not suprised. When we first arrived the lady at reception recommended booking for the restaurant as it gets busy, we didn’t book that night and we were asked by the waiter if we had a reservation but luckily there was space. We decided the next day to request a booking to which the response was ‘you don’t need to book there’s lots of rooms’, to which I confirmed what the waiter had said and so she reluctantly wrote my room number down on a piece of paper. I never even complain, especially when away on business, but only 1 night in I felt I needed to The plus side is the food is good, and the location is 10 minutes from the exhibition, shame it was taken over from the Hilton and the customer service is beyond poor.

Service good, bed comfortable but cushion terrible : too soft. Next railway made impossible to open window when airco did not cool the room. Breakfast was average, breadrolls were reheated and dry, and cheese was cold and dried out, should be covered. Wifi was decent but not stable, and housing keeping a bit slow in addressing issues. Still good location to city center, but railway line is something to consider. Good value for money considering the style of hotel

Just a new Holiday Inn Express. Just at the hall and walking less than 10 minutes from the city centre. The next metro station is also just about 5 minutes walk. Equipped and designed, like all the new Holiday Inn Express. There was no objection to this. Furthermore, very friendly and competent staff. In any case, a recommendation for a stay in Fürth or even if you buy a short 20 minutes metro to be in the middle of Nuremberg.

I stayed at Herzogspark from Nov 29 to Dec 3. The stay was quite lovely and the people were very nice. However, I was not happy that I was only told that breakfast was not included in my room rate on the last day when I checked out. I felt that it was quite unfair and the hotel was not being very upfront about additional charges. In the end, when I checked out, I had to pay an additional and unexpected 150 euros.

The apartment is very recommended. The kitchen line is top equipped, the dining table, the bed and the bathroom are very beautiful. Food did not have, but we saw breakfast buffet and that looked very rich. The location is very central if you want to go to the curtain park or thermal. The staff is very friendly, free parking outside the house. We would book again.

The Rappen has expanded quite a bit over the years that I've been coming here, however, their quality and service have not diminished. My single room was comfortable and just the right size for one person. My room was not air-conditioned, which I expect to be the rule, not the exception in Germany, however, I was still comfortable overnight with the window cracked for ventilation. While I didn't get a chance to enjoy their shady Biergarten, it looked very inviting, especially after a long day of traveling. The breakfast buffet in the morning was extensive - I think that no matter how much or what you care to eat in the morning, your needs would be met at that buffet!

The hotel is very beautiful and the layout is very warm and comfortable. The quaint and quaint is special. His family dinner is also good. The local famous breakfast is a bit disappointed. It is too general. There is no parking space in front of the door. He has it, but the charge is actually very convenient to park in the ancient city. There is a big parking lot outside the city because I don't know the store. I didn't say that it is not convenient to take the car to his parking lot directly. Every time I take the car and take things, I have to go far and trouble the staff to lead it. It's convenient and cheap to park in the public parking lot.
