Middle Franconia Hotels with Bars

It is a very basic hotel. The rooms hardly have any amenities that should classify it as 4*. The staff at reception was not warm. When we arrived, they said it will take 30mins for rooms to be ready. Eventually we got the room after 90 mins. There is hardly anyone at the reception and you have to wait for someone to come out of the inner room. The location is far from the station as well as old town (15 mins walk from old town and 20mins from station) Overall it turned out to be a disappoin**ent.

Stayed 2 nights while in Nuremberg at the Hampton and found it to be perfectly fine. It's a short 5 minute walk if that from the station past all the other hotels - Motel One , Leonardo, Novotel and Premier Inn so the area is well lit and very safe. The U2 train from the airport to Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof / station service is excellent. Checkin was quick and allocated room on the 5th floor facing the street - there was no noise during the night so the sound proofing must have been good. The room was a good size, compact yet functional. The bed was clean and actually very comfortable , nice and firm , I had a great night's sleep. The bathroom was fine, again it was compact but it did the job. Easy to use shower, toiletries fixed to the wall as seems to be the case these days. Towels were a little thin but that's a minor issue. Wifi was free and easy to connect , the complimentary bottle of water was a nice touch and overall a pretty decent room , well appointed and clean. Wardrobe space was limited but sufficient for a short stay. The free Hampton breakfast wasn't too bad - as many Nuremberg sausages as you could eat with scrambled egg and some beans or potato squares. Nice selection of bread and pastries. The cold meat and cheese selection was poor quality but the highlight was the easy to use waffle maker , a hit with everyone. Machine coffee and juices were so so but considering it's a budget hotel it was better than I expected. The coffee machine is available all day long so grab a cup after a day sightseeing in the city. Staff were excellent , always cheerful and happy to help. A fellow guest wanted a 10 minute hard boiled egg as the ones in the buffet were only cooked for 6 minutes - not a problem ! The location is perfect , walking distance to the old town or the #8 tram to the rally grounds , a great budget choice if visiting Nuremberg.

Booked a hotel for one night! The food in the restaurant is very delicious! The breakfast is also very delicious! The overall price/performance ratio is very good! Especially recommended for cyclists, it is possible to buy a favorite bicycle (free of charge). Will come back to the hotel next time!

I stayed 2 days for business in the hotel. It is walking distance from the train station (~10-15 min) and it is located just by the highway exit. The hotel is a standard Holiday Inn Express with nice rooms and good breakfast. There is not lunch/dinner service, thus you need to take have it outside. There is a pizza/pasta place right next door. It is quite a long walk from the hotel to the city center.

A fantastic property, felt very much welcomed and we're given an upgrade too which was very welcome. Bar was reasonably priced for drinks but food was as expected in a hotel, pricier than the local area. The hotel doesn't feel luke a traditional Holiday Inn, feels like the hotel needs to be upgraded a level as the staff (especially Dominik) were great and the amenities with the exception of missing a pool were fantastic. Little gripes; only one key available for the room and when we were trying to check out - the night manager seemed to be struggling with a departure and didn't even acknowledge those of us waiting so ended up just dropping the key as we had an early train to catch.

We enjoyed our stay. Three of us had a large room with three twin beds. And the wonderful vroom vroom alarm clock. No problem! That's why everyone stays there! We had a good dinner there, and good breakfast. And Lucia, the Italian chicken place across the road was great too! Only small complaint is the bathroom has no door for privacy.

Wow, what a great hotel! Friendly, efficient and helpful reception. For difficult sleepers the best rooms (sound proofing, airco that cools, good beds) where I slept like a baby. On top a great walk in shower with rain shower. Parking available with plenty of room (14 euro per night). Breakfast is great as well. What a nice way to end my holiday! Only disadvantage I can think of is the location if you want to be near many good bars and restaurants, but the city center is not that far away.

A positive surprise! We didn't expect the drinks in the room to be free. This was equipped with cola, water, apple juice and beer. Of course we have been very happy about the attention. The wellness area with the small sauna, 4 showers and 4 beds is small but fine and was as beautiful as showered. The room is modern and functionally furnished. Also it has comfortable beds for a relaxing sleep. I am very noisy and I found the hotel very pleasant. The only thing where there is some improvement potential is cleanliness in detail. Although at first sight everything seems very clean, at second sight, you see that for example the graduate in the shower was not cleaned in the rib, as well as the rain shower. The floor probably has not been wiped for longer. We have recognized on our socks later, with the eye it was not to recognize.😅 The location of the hotel is super, shopping country and many restaurants are reachable fluidly quickly. Specially recommended is Asian to the shopping country. Cheap and delicious. ☺️ You also walk to the old town. The positive part of this hotel is largely large. There are also small hygiene deficiencies. Price performance matches here. 👌 We're happy to come back to the hotel! ❤️ Thanks to the friendly lady at the reception. 💁🏻♀️

The hotel is located some distance from the station, but the subway is directly accessible and very close to the subway station. It is also accessible from the hotel to the nearby fürth subway, so the transportation is quite convenient. The hotel's environment is very clean, the rooms are large, and bottled water is provided, which is very rare in Europe. The rooms are cleaned every day, and the breakfast is rich. The overall accommodation experience is good.
