Hotel Pino Alto

Very quiet area and very nice facilities, highly recommended

We have just arrived from the 4* hotel for a 4 day stay. Part by part. 1st I give it 1 star because it is important to force the owners of this hotel to make a drastic change in both facilities and service. 2º The hotel basically dates back to 1987. Furniture, windows, doors, carpets, room opening systems. Everything is from 36 years ago. Except for 4 brush strokes. Renovated in 2003. I think they only changed the flooring in the rooms. Otherwise it is very old and old. 3º Hotel services and facilities. *Entertainment area. Foosballs, pingpong table, etc. from 1987 just as I remembered them as a kid. Yoga room that is more like hell. “period fans not working. “Paddle” area that is really a fronton of the time. Impracticable. Gym with machines from the time without working and without maintenance in years. You can only use the dumbbells. * “Spa” area. Sauna and Jacuzzi not functioning. Therefore locker rooms neither. I don't know how long it hasn't worked. *Common area cleaning. Cleanliness in the common areas is very poor, there are always papers and things lying on the floors. In fact, at no time did I see anyone sweeping or collecting trash, etc. *Room cleaning... On the first day, the girl who made the room for us was correct. But the rest of the days she was another girl she simply dedicated herself to sweeping and mopping the floor, making the double bed and that's it. He didn't even make the extra beds or the terrace. And he didn't replace the towels, he just took the dirty ones. Bad. *Hotel bar. The old bar like no other. Correct. The waiter does a good job but at peak times he needs help. The coffee is terrible. They have an obsolete price list which can cause legal problems. For example, a coffee with milk is only €1.30 but they actually charge you €1.80. *Restauration or free buffet. (What has never been seen) Starting from the assumption that there is no “Maître” Every time you arrive at the door a different person greets you, even on one occasion a person who does not know how to speak Spanish. Curiosities, the food is normal, it is not to be thrown away, neither good nor bad. It can be eaten. But little variety. The “curious” thing is when you finish something from the buffet, 3 Possibilities can happen. 1º That they take a while to replace it and you may not try it again, because the time periods can be between 20 min to 40 min. 2º That they do not replace it. Or 3rd That they replace it with something else at random. I had never seen this in any hotel of any star. They also have a small griddle but it is enough for the number of diners. The curious thing is also that the cook changed during the 4 days. In short, you eat from what is left in the Buffet because it is unknown if they are going to restock or what they are going to put in and when. *Swimming pools. It has 2 swimming pools. The main one and a secondary Secondary. It doesn't make much sense, I guess it would be designed for children. But it was practically empty. 85cm high. Major. Is U

I haven't finished my stay here yet since it's 13 days and I've only been there for 2, but just in these two days I've realized how bad the food is, but believe me when I say I've NEVER tried a worse buffet, they don't clean the pans and some dishes taste like gas burning… I have read other comments and I read that in the responses they say that they will take immediate action, wow, that is a lie. Incredibly bad service from a waitress, who asked her for a drink in Catalan and before giving me the opportunity to change the language to Spanish she told me “I don't speak Catalan” and quickly left, ignoring me, what if she spoke Swedish? If only he had made an effort to understand me. In conclusion I would not recommend this site even to my worst enemy.
