The lighting, air conditioning and ventilation adjustment of the room, opening and closing of curtains, TV music, etc. were all operated with iPad. We have traveled all over the United States and reserved rooms with tax included. No hotel has asked for a city construction tax of 45.67 US dollars like your hotel. I raised an objection, and the staff left us, a 70-year-old man, aside for more than three hours. It was located right in front of the bayfront and was easily accessible. It was also very close to the Key West one-day tour pickup location. The room was clean and cozy, but perhaps because it was too small, there was poor ventilation and the body odor of previous guests remained, making it a bit uncomfortable. The staff were very friendly and everything else was satisfactory.

The room is not big, suitable for traveling alone! The location is very convenient, right in the city center, opposite the Heat basketball stadium! It’s not far from South Beach and there are buses nearby!

Service, sanitation and environment are very good, but the room is too small

I liked that lighting, blinds, tv and air conditioning were all controlled by a tablet. Also I liked being able to choose when the cleaning service would be in my room. However I didn't like that the air conditioner couldn't be turned off, so I had to set it as high as possible 79 and turn fan low, but not even the ambassadors could turn it off. Also on the Friday night of my stay, there was a torrential down pour of rain, (tornado warning too), which somehow caused a false fire alarm at midnight. The emergency stairway was not clearly marked. Then once I got to the lobby/ main floor, no one was telling us what was going on. I finally found the ambassador girl by the computers and asked if it was a false alarm and if I could return to my room. Her answer was curt, but confirmed I could and it was a false alarm. I found the female ambassadors not to be very friendly, including at check in. On my check out, the automated way didn't work for my card, but a guy serving breakfast to others, was friendly when I asked for help. He checked me out and helped me get a taxi, (because my cell phone got damaged at Ultra Miami EDM festival). He went above and beyond to help me and it was very appreciated, I just wish I had known his name.
