The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami

This hotel is NOT 5 stars. Customer service VERY poor. Its like the staff has never worked at a hotel before. Hotel is so dirty, it's old, but more than that is unkempt and let go. I'm sitting looking at the dirty tub with the $40 of warm sparkling water I was just delivered.

Had a pleasant stay while at the property for 6 nights. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The front desk had great recommendations for dinners and made reservations. The team in Isabelle's was so attentive and friendly and the room attendants were incredibly pleasant leaving extra coffee and chocolates. The gym was spacious and had good equipment. As a note the spa was temporarily closed as it was going through a renovation. The room had a great view towards the bay and the beds were very comfortable. Overall the stay was very good and have fond memories on property and would return.

Hotel nice and friendly staff. Pool and staff great. Pablo was especially helpful around the pool. We opted for buffet breakfast which was very disappointing. Limited choice and not very good quality. Actually it spoiled our stay. Far too expensive for the dreadful experience. Very disappointed for a Ritz Carlton hotel.

DO NOT book non cancellable, non modifiable reservations. I learned the hard way. I was supposed to visit University of Miami with some prospective students. Due to a hurricane we had to cancel our trip. I called the hotel at least 5 times between the 800 number and the on-site reservation desk to see if we could reschedule due to the circumstances. No one returned my calls and each group kept telling me to deal with the other one. I lost $4000 dollars between two rooms for a 4 day weekend.

We originally had a day stay due to our delayed flight and they were super accommodating to the change when our flight was canceled and were super on point with service. Danielle, Stephanie and the rest of the crew are exceptional at their jobs.

We were sent an email allowing us to upgrade and then the day of our arrival we were denied the upgrade w no explanation. The night manager could have cared less and was ver dismissive, basically sorry about your luck. Rude as hell. Not even a great property to begin with The Couryard is just as nice. Never again.

I’ve stayed at this hotel and many other Ritz Carlton’s but this trip had the best service I’ve ever received. Danielle went above and beyond to take care of us, knowing I had surgery. The kindness and service she provided really goes a long way. Thanks Danielle, you’re 10/10

We just stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Coconut Grove before taking a cruise. This was our second time staying here and it was fantastic! The staff is wonderful and the hotel is well maintained. We had a bay view executive suite and I was very happy with the accommodations. It’s not stuffy and very welcoming. Highly recommend!

Amazing property! Our flight out of Palm Beach was canceled due to monsoon-like weather and so we rescheduled and drove to Miami to spend a night. Used points and stayed here at the Ritz and it was such a perfect respite! Got upgraded to a suite which was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adult kids). Such a fabulous treat and experience!! Relaxed, wore our robes and slippers, and felt pampered. Had a delicious dinner at the restaurant downstairs, Isabelle’s! Recommend the NY *****! Every single employee here was phenomenal and made us feel so welcomed, from the valet and bellhops to the front desk and restaurant. Superb! Just wish the rain had gone away and we could have taken advantage of the spectacular pool!! Would definitely stay again!
