The new Moxy hotel in Wynwood is beautiful. From the time you step in, it’s a full display of colors, artwork, murals on the outside of the building, it’s simply gorgeous. The bar in the second levels is so good. At the rooftop level, you will find Casa Madera restaurant which also has a top notch bar and lounge. If you are staying in Miami, this a recommended option. Caveat, if you are looking for a relaxing weekend, quiet nights, this is not area for you, as the entire neighborhood is so happening. But if you are here to enjoy all the city has to offer, including great parties, music, etc, this Moxy might be one of your best o

I had a fun, memorable stay here. I had never been to Wynwood and it was such a neat area with all the graffiti and the hotel did a great job blending in. Yes, the rooms are small but that’s the Moxy brand. Lots of shops and restaurants to walk to. And the hotel had a great bar space. It was perfect for a quick one night trip to the area for work.

I stayed at this hotel last night. It is poorly managed, incompetent staff and a total lack of urgency or customer service. The whole place vibrates with loud music blaring from the lobby all night long. You can also hear all the street noise and hotel mechanics, elevators, outside air units. The valet is also incompetent. Called me at 1 am and said I had to come get my car that they close at 1 am. I explained I was staying at the hotel. The valet manager said I had to come down to the street at 1 in the morning. They never explained to me why they don’t keep the car overnight. There was a huge language barrier with all the valet staff. The location is great but if you want to rest or sleep this is not the hotel for you.

DO NOT GO! Gold Loyalty member = room directly facing a filthy landing. Room 322. Beware! Loud music/banging noise throughout the night, coming in through the windows and the vent in the bathroom. WHAT? Oh, valet that doesn’t speak English so couldn’t answer my basic question about retrieving my car and an inattentive bartender who forgot my order (a gin & tonic, shouldn’t have been that difficult). 4:00 a.m. return flight with no sleep. Thanks Moxy, but no thanks. I am ANGRY.

Forget the fact that this hotel has the craziest layouts for the rooms and virtually no desk or space to work in. I went to bed and upon peeling the sheets I found INSIDE the bed TWO USED BLACK SOCKS from the previous guest im guessing. I paid 300 usd per night and this hotel didnt even bother to change the sheets between guests you can imagine what else they dont do. I told the person running the front desk and he said he would have his manager call me. Still waiting. I would AVOID this hotel unless you think paying to stay somewhere and sleeping in used sheets seems readonable.

on check in discovered the heavy glass shower door in suite was coming off its hinge, couldn’t be opened and was unsafe. Front desk said denied, and then admitted they knew about it but would do nothing, moved us into non-suite and wouldn’t change nightly rate to match new closet-sized regular room.

This Moxy is close to meetings I’ve had and I’ve stayed here twice. Terribly disappointed both times and I won’t stay again. The basics you should be able to expect with a hotel stay are a comfortable bed, a quiet room, and a hot shower. I’ve not had any of those things either time. The beds are horribly hard and weirdly arranged in the room. The rooms have no acoustical privacy. I can hear the street outside. I can hear the people next door. I can hear the guests in the hall. When the guests next door raise their shade, it sounds like it’s in my room. I can clearly hear conversations on the street even from a fourth floor room. The shower fluctuates between barely warm and slightly warm with low water pressure. The second floor common area is fine, but not anything to compensate for terrible rooms. It’s honestly baffling that this is a brand new Marriott property. Don’t stay.

Beautiful property in the heart of Wynwood. They described it as an upscale hostel when we checked in - which seems accurate… small rooms with little frills but the space is optimized and looks great. The biggest issue is the loud club music pumping until 2am… literally shakes the room as you’re trying to sleep. I would only stay here if you are also staying out until 2am…

The single worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I was in town for a work meeting and they blasted music in the lobby bar until 3am to a level that shook my room all through the evening. I had to be up at 6am and got less than 3 hours of sleep. When I asked them to turn it down they said I just had to wait until 2am…there are no words. The music continued beyond 2am. Don’t stay here unless you literally want to sleep next to a subwoofer.
