We did not realize we were booking a hostel.
The area where the hostel is located has people standing outside on corners leading up to the facility smoking and drinking. The neighborhood looks run down and uncared for by the city or members. There are people standing outside of the location smoking however that could be due to the no smoking on the inside.

This accommodation was very close to the airport, near the Earlington metro station. When we arrived at the accommodation, the person who attended to us said that the reservation was cancelled. I had the reservation confirmed in my application, in fact, I confirmed it. We called the accommodation and the gentleman sent us to another accommodation and gave us a shared room (thank goodness it was just the two of us). I had booked a double room. The best thing is that we slept well without any noise. That was the best thing and it was clean. To enter the accommodation you enter with a PIN code that they give you. For one night, as was the case for us, it was fine, but we had a bad time when they told us that it was cancelled at 11 at night.

Not a hotel, old hose, bad neighbourhood, no staff onsite, chickens running around yard, dirty, what is advertised is NOT what it is. Travelled for approaching 50 years globally, the worst experience I've ever had this includes, India, Pakistan, Croatia and many, many third world countries, the absolute worst

Horrible, horrible, horrible
Honestly pretty horrible. I’ve stayed in many places but this is by far the worst. Based off of the pictures, you would think that’s what you were getting but the host switched the location of stay right after I had booked and didn’t even send pictures of the different location when I had asked and just said it looks the same as the pictures of the posted location. As soon as we walked into our room, there was a cockroach flipped on its back still moving. Another cockroach (dead this time) under our bed. What should be the living room, which had no furniture or tables, had just a bucket and some stuff that looked like was used for construction. Only one bathroom for all guests to use which had a pretty dirty shower and sink. Very communal. Bathroom door also doesn’t close unless you lift the door up and push it in. The bed was insanely uncomfortable as well. I guess now I know
