"Super super comfortable, a newly opened hotel, quite clean. The elevator is always broken, luckily it's on the third floor 😄 The hotel is in a good location, not far from the public parking lot next to it, and there are food on the street behind. I will stay there again next time I come to Miami."
"The hotel is in the heart of South Beach, and the location is superb. The swimming pool is awesome, facing the beach. The room is either facing the swimming pool or looking out to sea. High sea view room is recommended. The hotel is a well-known old building in the art deco district, and there are endless groups of thematic tourism groups in the hotel lobby. Although the rooms are not large, they are full of design and do not have the sound insulation problems common in old buildings. The shortcoming is breakfast: the restaurant is mainly for dinner parties, the quality of breakfast is very poor, and the waiter looks at you to get the voucher. I guess I can't get the tip, the service is extremely inadequate and Ignore. It is not recommended to book a room with breakfast."

"I had a wonderful stay at Kimpton Angler's Hotel during my trip to Miami. I was especially impressed by the exceptional service provided by Mohammed Dhia, Varun, and Supervisor Anthony. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made my stay truly comfortable and enjoyable. I’m incredibly grateful for their efforts, and I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Miami. Highly recommended!"
"Very convenient location. It's on the main street and it's very close to the beach. The deco is nice. The room is spacious for two ppl but if for 3 ppl then the space is a bit tight. I think the Queen size bed is a bit smaller than usual . The staff are helpful. I think it worths the money"
"(38F) I stayed at Esme Miami Beach for one night before taking off on cruise. Wished I booked an earlier flight so I can venture out in the area. It's located right in the center of Espanola Way where there's a ton of food options and night scene in Art Deco district. The bellman helped and guided me straight to my room (sorry I can't remember his name but he was on staff 11/26 evening), he gave some pointers on food and beach within walking distance. The room size was perfect for me as I was traveling alone. Love the bathroom set and it was huge! I got up early to take advantage of their rooftop pool. It was relaxing as it was clean and quiet. I later grab lunch at their bar/cafe there also. Before heading to the cruiseport, I dropped my luggage off at the front desk to hold while I walked over to the beach which was like 5 mins away. I will definitely stay here again!"
"The hotel is very big, especially the swimming pool area is very big and very photogenic. The basic room type can also see part of the sea view. The front desk service is pretty good. Overall, it is a hotel with high cost performance"
"The hotel environment and facilities are more like a business hotel, not suitable for vacation. The front desk is very small. Although there is a terrace swimming pool, the lounge chairs look very dirty. The front desk was very serious when checking in, and there was no sense of relaxation. The scenery outside the window is average, and you can see a little sea from a distance. The hotel soundproofing is average, and you can hear people talking and watching TV in the next room. The hotel is not cleaned thoroughly, and there is a half-bottle of juice left in the refrigerator.
The advantage is that the hotel has a happy hour every afternoon where you can drink for free, and the front desk has a long-term supply of lemonade.
In addition, there is not a shuttle bus to the beach every day, only from Thursday to Sunday, so you have to take a taxi to the beach. It is close to Lincoln Road, within walking distance, convenient for shopping, and opposite is Trader Joe's for buying water and snacks."
"Sparkling clean room. Excellent service and great recommendations of things to do from the staff. They also put on daily free events from volleyball, to watching the sunset, karaoke, and nightclubbing. There is also a cute library where you can get work done or have a bite to eat as the library is equipped with refrigerators and a microwave.
We absolutely would come back if we were to visit Miami again, however, I am more interested in visiting more of their other locations down in Central and South America!"

Great
GGuest UserThe room smelt damp, mouldy… not the best smell for a RC hotel. They shut the A/C down one night for maintenance and the room got uncomfortably hot. That then teamed with a fire alarm at 1am & then again at 5am (obviously caused by the work being carried out) was not a great night stay. After all a hotels basic fulfilment is for a place to sleep!! The staff at the hotel were great 5 star service from the beach, pool, doormen/valet and checkin.

Yyuna82We also used the private beach! Please note that service to both the pool and beach ends at 5pm. It was great that there were refillable bottles in the room and water could be refilled anywhere in the hotel! It's more eco-friendly than plastic bottles. We upgraded to a spacious junior suite, which was a great choice! Our family of four had plenty of room to spare. The bathroom was spacious, with a separate shower and chair. The amenities also had a nice scent.
It was easily accessible from the airport, and we arrived in about 15 minutes by Uber for about 3,500 yen!
From our room, we could see the neighboring tower apartment building and the beach.

CChalsey LBoulan South Beach – Honest Review
I recently stayed at Boulan South Beach and overall had a great experience, with a few minor drawbacks.
Positives:
The location is fantastic—just one block from the beach and in a very walkable area surrounded by great restaurants and bars. The hotel itself offers solid amenities, including a small but relaxing rooftop pool with a bar. One of the highlights of my stay was dining at Orange Blossom, the on-site restaurant. The food was excellent, and I’d highly recommend checking it out even if you’re not staying at the hotel.
The rooms are well-appointed, apartment-style suites that feel spacious and thoughtfully designed. I also appreciated how quiet the rooms were—perfect for getting a good night’s sleep after a day out.
Negatives:
That said, I was disappointed by the bed. The listing advertised a pillow-top mattress, but the bed was far from comfortable and fell short of our expectations. Also, for a room that otherwise felt luxurious, the lack of bathrobes was a small detail that would’ve really rounded out a luxurious experience.
Additionally, while the room was clean, some of the design choices were lovely but weren’t the most practical for a hotel setting. The cloth-upholstered bed frame, while stylish, showed some staining—fabric furniture can be hard to keep looking fresh in a high-turnover “fun” environment. Similarly, the jute rug added visual texture but proves to be difficult to clean and showed signs of wear.
Final Thoughts:
Boulan South Beach is a solid choice if you’re looking for a stylish, well-located hotel in South Beach with great amenities and a quieter, more refined atmosphere. Just be aware of a few comfort and design trade-offs. It really is too bad, because Boulan is excellent on so many things and I would 100% go back and definitely recommend this hotel to others… However, the bed quality really brought down the overall appeal. If they can improve that one aspect, this would easily be a top-tier stay in South Beach.

JJhylle MararacStaying in Penguin Hotel is very convenient since it is really closed by at the Beach and nearby outlets. However, when we were checking in the lady who assisted us didn’t explained well the informations. And every night there’s no front desk. But overall stay it’s really good the free breakfast was really good I will definitely recommend.

GGuest UserThere is no problem in a twin room for a family of four. The bed is big enough.
However, the space and passages in the room are very narrow. Generally, after the 24” suitcase is opened, there is no room to move around, which is a bit annoying.
The waiters are very welcoming and helpful.
The most surprising thing is that the hotel has free bicycle rentals, which can be borrowed for up to 2 hours a day. Our family of 4 borrowed 4 bicycles and cycled around South Beach, which we found to be a very worthwhile activity.

TtlapeachFor me, the number one priority for a stay is cleanliness. Overall, our first impression of cleanliness in the hotel was a bit poor when you enter the hallway with an extremely dirty, dust-filled carpet. Upon entering the room, it looked fine - clean but very old-looking. The material on the chairs was peeling off. The bathroom was clean enough, but I still did not want to go barefoot in the shower. Note that all the towels are jet black, so you get piece of mind knowing that no stains will show up on them if there are any: Take that information however you want to interpret it. However our biggest grievance was that there was a small bloodstain on the bedsheets. I still trusted that it was probably clean and simply just a stain, but nevertheless… Gross.
Overall, it’s fine as budget room. You get what you pay for. If you lower your standards enough, this place will do.
On the other hand, the location was fantastic. Close to the beach and walking distance to quite a lot of fantastic restaurants.

LLucho RodriguezI can confidently give this dog-friendly hotel a well-deserved five-star rating, as our experience there was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly, and their friendliness and helpfulness were evident throughout our stay.
Our furry friend was treated like a VIP. The hotel’s commitment to being dog-friendly was remarkable, and our pet felt right at home from the start.
Beyond the pet-friendly aspect, the hotel itself was a true delight. The pool area offering a refreshing escape with nice music.
The rooms were consistently clean, and the pleasant scent that permeated the hotel created a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. It was evident that the staff took great care to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests.
As we returned for our third visit, our love for this place only grew stronger. If you’re seeking a dog-friendly haven where exceptional service, a beautiful ambiance, and pristine rooms converge, look no further. This hotel is an absolute gem that we can’t help but adore.
