Ocean Five Hotel

This place is NASTY. We slept in a bed on the floor that is made for a 3 year old. I am a grown a_ _ women with a grown _ _ husband. At this point THROW THE MOTEL AWAY. This is not a HOTEL. Absolutely unbelievable how horrible this place is. I FELT DIRTY!!!!!😡

The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The location was great! The hotel was rundown but was generally clean. This was a good place to spend just one night after our cruise. Overall this was a decent budget hotel to stay for a short time.

Recommended by the virgin rep, so booked for an overnight trip. Car park was extra and really tight spaces for the huge hire car we had been given. Our room was next door, we had to walk through a full restaurant and up in the lift. The smoke alarm was going off as we checked it, piercing noise outside our room whilst it was being fixed. The room- basic with storage and noisy aircon with the blinds down. Opened the blind to a Bush and the wall of next door- defo no sea view in this one. Shower was cold so we all had to have cold showers and toilet was dodgy flushing. Walked outside, air con was leaking all over the corridor floor so reported at reception. They cleared it quickly. We stayed one night and loved miami as a place, location of the hotel was fab, came back early as wasn't sure what would happen when the restaurant closed. As others have said, when i booked it said free breakfast and when i asked they said there was no breakfast unless we paid in the restaurant. Would I stay again, probably not.

We had a two night stay here. The location is great and the owner was friendly. The room was a decent size, functional with no frills. It was clean and provided some nice toiletries. I would say ideal for a short stay and good value. They don't do breakfast but there is a super cafe attached to the hotel with a great breakfast choice. It's just across the road from the beach and close to the main Art Deco area.
