Bentley Hotel South Beach

My husband and I stayed here on 9/13 while in Miami the night before our cruise. Charming hotel and staff. 2 minute walk to beautiful Miami beach. Great location and amenities. Beautiful rooftop with private seating, a pool, and a Jacuzzi all overlooking Miami Beach. Rooms and halls are CLEAN and attractive. The staff was great, friendly, and attentive. From our check-in with William to our check-out with another gentlemen, we enjoyed our stay from start to finish!

Unbelievably the shortest and worst hotel stay I've ever experienced with horridness customer service. We checked in late to be greeted by an incredibly rude staff member... When we got to our room we started to realized the mistake we made. It looked like someone tried to DIY and fix up the place with some paint and a few screws but nothing actually worked. The "AC" was a fan blowing out of the vent but no actual AC. What drew the line was the doors to the balcony had no locks on them. Someone could go on to your patio and come right into your room any time they wanted. It was completely unsafe to stay there. Right out front there's homeless drunk people everywhere. When we went back to the front desk to talk about it she even said "I'm not surprised" but couldn't give us a refund or put us in contact with a manager. No help what so ever. I now have 3 charges on my CC from them for nothing. We were there for under 10 minutes and checked out. What are the CC charges for?

Good property at a great location, however, rooms are a bit tiny, a bit dark, there is room for improvement. I would stay there again

I woke up several days in a row due to construction noise at around 5:30 a.m and it continued throughout the day. It would have been great if the hotel informed us beforehand that they were doing renovations. It's frustrating to be sleep deprived while on vacation. Additionally, we booked a balcony room, but it was facing an indoor area. The online pictures of the resort were misleading and didn't match the reality. Avoid the fake balcony view rooms as it looks like a dungeon as the view. Lastly, we didn't receive any complimentary drink upon our arrival as promised.

Fraudulent hotel!! Do not book here unless you want to stay at a hostile type hotel! Their pictures are not representative of the property, the pool is not working and the building has no secure access it is completely open for anyone to walk in. There is no lobby. We booked this property based on Travelocity pictures, description and rating but the day before our check in we were told by a friend that the property advertised is not the property. So we called Travelocity to request a change in hotel and they informed us that the hotel advised them they will not return our money. Btw, they drafted the entire stay before we even confirmed the room! We then decided that we will pray for the best and hope our friend was wrong, so upon arrival we were so upset, we advised the manager about our concerns and basically were told Too Bad: we were almost crying because we were so upset but we were very nice and basically begged them to refund our money. We even explained that if they had advertised accordingly we would never have booked here in the first place, Of course there are people that may like that atmosphere and that’s ok, but they are false advertising!! We left and found rooms at a much nicer hotel, which was as advertised accordingly!! I’ve already contacted my lawyer and will be getting my money refunded but if they were a stand up hotel they would have understood our concerns, especially because we have a infant with us. Now it has to turn into a battle!!

Staff was great and very attentive! Location was perfect! Had an upper patio remodel still in process, but didn’t impact overall access to pool or hot tub. No construction noise. Room was clean and spacious enough!

We stayed 1 night, whole family. We have reserved 3 rooms for this hotel. The hotel location and condition as good. Room was fine. we used valet parking service for 2 cars by hotel. We got a parking violation notice (Illegal parking during valet parking service by hotel) Just 1 of 2 cars. We have notified to hotel to fix it. No answer until now. Otherwise, I would give better score ( Maybe 4?)
