We had a terrible experience in this hotel 1/ we booked a superior king - 3 people 300sqft. The room was barely 180sqft and you could absolutely not accommodate a 3rd person - false advertising 2/ bar is closed - no breakfast offered. As a diamond member we are used to enjoy a complimentary cocktail and breakfast on week ends. After insisting we were offered to take a coke in the minibar (!!!) and got vouchers for a second zone breakfast in a lousy place around the corner. (As other comments mentioned you will benefit from a special menu with second zone products and choices) 3/ room service opened the door to do the room at 8am on night 2 and 9am on night 3. She barely knocked and worked us up both nights. 4/ we sent emails and went to front desk to complain about this situation - no one care to answers within 48hrs 5/ front desk and customer service is not trained and would rather stay on their cellphone than helping customers Overall this hotel is more a suburban 2 stars hotel than a 4 stars Mc Gallery I will NEVER satay there again. You job is hosting people and make sure they have a good time - what a gigantic failure !

What we like: - the location - the room (beds and comfort) - the swimming pool on the roof top what we don’t like - the reception and lobby where you can’t see the staff hidden by the desk - lack of service at the reception : no greeting, no any treatment as you can feel a guest - no f&b service when the All website sold us a stay b&b ; the guy at the reception just told us to complain to Accor…. - breakfast is in a restaurant shared with other hotels guests, located 2 blocks from the hotel and with a very limited “à la carte” menu and a choice restricted to 1 drink (hot or juice) + 1 dish

Fabulous customer service from David and Alexandra at the customer service desk. Very supportive in assisting our group during our stay. Well done to them for making our stay a really great one, addressing concerns, resolving an issue that was not created by Berkeley Park hotel

In general, we enjoyed our stay in Miami. We have a pleasant 4 nights stay in this Hotel. Check in is quick but male reception not really interested of having conversation. He asked me for my card details to pay for taxes or some kind of resort fee for $45.00 a day and held it for deposit for incidentals which is understandable. Asked for a receipt but told me they dont issue receipt. Bed is comfy, quiet sorrounding which we wanted as we don't really like the buzz along the main roads. Breakfast is unusual as you will be given a voucher to use and have your meal to a restaurant few blocks away from the hotel. Breakfast is satisfying. We didn't get to swim at their pool because its not heated so we just enjoyed the views on the rooftop. Check out was ok with the nice lady reception, still no receipt provided. So i thought it was ok, no dues. However, on 21 March 2024, the Hotel suddenly charged me with £581.44 plus $17.15 transaction fee! I was shocked and gobsmocked!! I dont owe anything to this Hotel. So I queried. After few days and emails exchanged, they claim that it was for a pending charge and subsequently confirmed its for our room charges. Astounding! I booked and paid upfront everything as a package with @lastminute.com #lastminute.com for both flight and Hotel on 18 July 2023 and it was then confirmed. Why all of a sudden after 2 months, the Hotel charged me for room which i already paid! Whatever their claims, should the Hotel performed due diligence in chasing #lastminute.com for the room charges? In my point of view, this is supposedly nothing to do with me. The Hotel should be the one chasing #lastminute.com in all possible ways they can to collect the money owed, but instead, they went for the easiest way out in charging me with my card they are holding without my knowledge which i found it so wrong and unfair. As it seems this will take time to resolve the issue tossing me between the Hotel, the card issuer and @lastminute.com is ridiculous and Im not so happy about. Why on earth should i be dealing with this? This is stressing me out big time! I am sharing this for you guys in case you have the same experience and i would appreciate your inputs on how to deal with this kind of issue. This is frustrating me as this was supposed to be a happy holiday with my husband but now it turned out awful. We had great time and nice memories in Miami but now its ruined by this terrible mistake. I've been in contact with @lastminute.com #lastminute.com and still waiting for reply. So watch this space pips!!!

Looks fine. But….. The essentials are not in place. No restaurant in the hotel. No breakfast. Voucher for a restaurant two blocks away. Nothing to choose from. Set breakfast menu. Lack of hot water. Shower water on bathroom floor. Not able to open windows in the room. Only air conditioning to adjust cold/warm.

Given some of the bad reviews noted for this hotel, I was a bit apprehensive to stay at this hotel for my one night stay [November 28th]. Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised. What a delightful hotel, particularly given the low price I paid for my stay. The pros: [1] Staff, including the front door security guard, check-in/out ladies [I didn't get their names], and both breakfast staff members, including the male waiter. [2] Room, although small, it was a haven--cozy, quiet, and clean [except for carpet--see "cons" comment below]. The room had an upscale feel. The AC worked great, and it didn't make a lot of noise, and the linens and towels were very nice; the bed was comfy. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. [3] Breakfast, which was included in my rate, was excellent [the best avocado toast I have had in a long time], and the coffee was fantastic. The setting was pleasant in the hotel's courtyard. [4] Location was perfect for me--in a quiet, semi-residential area of South Beach; yet, in walking distance to everything South Beach has to offer, including the beach [the hotel has a free designated spot on the beach with loungers, etc.], restaurants, shops, clubs/bars, etc., without the noise and chaos that comes with staying at a South Beach hotel. [5] Rooftop pool: I didn't use it; however, it was very nice and quiet when I went up to look at it. The cons: [1] Restaurant/bar--it suddenly closed the only night I was there, and I really did not want to go out for dinner/drinks. It appeared open when I checked in and I even confirmed the open times when I checked in at 4pm. [2] Breakfast times--the restaurant opens at 8am for breakfast, which is a tad too late for me, as I'm an early riser. [3] Parking--they only have valet parking for $40, a bit steep. Fortunately, I know South Beach very well as I live about 5 miles away. Therefore, I parked at one of Miami Beach's public lots on 17th street, about a 12-minute walk to the hotel. It's open 24-hours/day, and it was $20. It's a large garage and I felt my car would be safer there overnight vs. valet parking on the street. [4] Room carpet needs to be replaced as it's worn and past its useful life. [5] Overnight front desk staff member [male] did not even acknowledge me when I came back to the hotel around 1130pm. Note: none of the cons would keep from staying at this hotel again. I plan to book another staycation there again soon.

We spent 4 days at this hotel with colleagues during a business trip to Miami and the service has been terrible. Most of the staff at the reception are mentally absent and have zero interest in the customers' satisfaction, they show a horrible attitude with guests and are indifferent towards whatever need or question you may have. You get the impression they need a bottle of red bull as they hardly ever react to any of your feedback. A hotel to avoid! We came here two years ago and sadly it became worse than a hostel. MGallery standards do not exist, the management has never been there, not even breakfast is served. The reception is chronicly understaffed, the only person behind the desk sleeps with open eyes. A temple of mediocrity.

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of days during a trip to Miami in April 2023 and were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Super well located: walking distance to the beach and restaurants and bars. The lobby is gorgeous. Staff is courteous. The hotel provides access to chairs on the beach via a third party. The rooftop pool is nicely equipped with chairs and lounges. We enjoyed a quiet afternoon reading by the pool. The rooms have been updated and are nice and comfortable. However, the walls are thin and the hallways are a bit noisy.

Good hotel within Accor standards. Special thanks to Camila and Alessandra at the front desk eho were very helpful during my entire stay. However the rooms are small which is ok but the shower in the bathroom has no pressure and the bar is closed without any option to the guest.
