It's the third time at that hotel, we will keep staying there as the price is quite fair, the location is just great, close to the main bus station, downtown and the main touristic sites. What we like the most of this hotel is the staff, want to mention Javier and Juan Carlos as they are between reception, bellboys and butlers, they are always helpful. Stephany from the front desk was very kind and enthusiastic. Guess they are short staffed withing the housekeeping department as the maintenance people were doing their job... Something simple from taking coffee to a room or even been a bellboy. Just hope they give them an extra for doing other things. Raymundo and Florentino from maintenance were helping us and we appreciate them taking some time to do so. I would rate this quite good, but we had a deception we never had before in this hotel... Our first room was never cleaned or anything when we came back to rest, they changed us to a different one, which we do thank, but housekeeping does need to be on point, details, basics and their checklist has always to be a priority. Also on the night of the 17th something was going on that other guests just made too much noise, till 3-4am, as we woke up many time and couldn't rest... If you read the document which you sign, part of the rules and policies are to please respect other night time, they need to work on this hard. The security guy, which works a lot compared to the normal 8-12hrs is just nuts, he was kind to help us move around and hopefully the security company which they work for see the long hours and good job they provide to this hotel. From the rest there is nothing to complaint about, the overall experience was good, could have been great. Thank you guys once again. Hope to visit you soon!

The hotel is well located. But when I arrived, the receptionist was not there. The security guard who had to be marking the person in charge and taking photos of my reservation was very kind. That is the detail. The receptionist was not there. Fixed by security guard. But in that it failed them. And in my reservation it did not say if it had air conditioning or not. Which I didn't have. Just a fan. The elevator seems to have a turbo. It goes up and down very sharp. Excellent in cleanliness.

The hotel is quite convenient. From T1 is a short walk distance and from T2 there’s a shuttle bus every 15min. To get there from T2, you need to exit from gate 4; towards this gate you can find a Camino Real Hotel office. I stayed overnight, which I think is enough. The hotel room is old, with details on the walls specially in the bathroom. The experience was alright.

The Novotel Mexico City Centro Histórico is a new hotel. Its newness shows in any number of ways, both good and bad. First the good: Staff were all friendly. And my room was shiny new and free of signs of wear. Everything in the room worked perfectly. It is true that the room was rather small and that the view was mostly of a blank wall. Since I was by myself and did not spend much time in the room during the day, these latter issues didn’t bother me very much. There were, however, some issues that were also perhaps related to the hotel’s newness. The cleaning staff didn’t empty the wastebasket on the first day and didn’t replenish the Nespresso pods on the second. Perhaps they should start working from a checklist … ? Also, breakfast was only available half an hour later than advertised. And, oddly, only certain guests were offered omelettes. And, as someone who doesn’t eat meat, I was bothered by a cheese-and-luncheon-meat plate on which the cheese and luncheon meat were piled on top of each other. I would also have appreciated labels on the four stew-like dishes on offer—I couldn’t tell what they contained. There is also the issue of billing. When I checked in at 3 p.m., I was asked to pay the entire bill—no problem there. But, when I arrived in my room, I found an e-mail from hotel management informing me that, because the hotel was extra busy, I’d already been charged for day 1. It’s true that I’d opted for a “flexible” rate which required me to agree to pay for the first day whether I showed up or not, but it was a little startling to be charged for a no-show before the earliest possible check-in time—and then charged again when I checked in. It took a week for the double charge to disappear from my credit-card statement. I can’t believe Accor would have approved of this billing procedure. The thing that most bothered me about the hotel was the absence of a minibar. The TripAdvisor website—and also the websites of several booking agencies—all claim that rooms in the Novotel Mexico City Centro Histórico have minibars. The Accor website, I’ll admit, doesn’t. But I guess I’ve come to expect that hotels of a certain class would have minibars. And I missed having one, not for overpriced drinks, but for the groceries I bought. I wasn’t, in other words, very enthusiastic about the Novotel Mexico City Centro Histórico, although I acknowledge that, with a few changes, it could most definitely be turned into a very good hotel.

AVOID THIS HOTEL ! The pictures in Google are not rooms you get! I reserved this hotel through the AMEX Travel website thinking it was a good, safe hotel in Mexico City. We arrived at the hotel and could not believe the distress the room was in. The noise from the exterior was unbearable. It sounded like the trucks and traffic were inside the room. It was unbearable. We went to the lobby to ask for another room. They changed out room to another one. When we arrived in the room the noise again was unbearable even at the room was on the other side of the building. At this point we decided that the to pick another hotel and leave the following day. We spoke to the front desk who advised us that we would leave the next day. The clerk told us that we would not be charged for the rest of the reservation just that one night. After spending a night with absolutely no sleep due to the noise outside, the rock hard bed and pillows we went downstairs to checkout. Imagine our surprise when we were told that we would not receive any refund what so ever. We spoke to the manager who told us that the policy is no refund. **Update, I have disputed 2 nights charge with American Express and the hotel refuses to refund my 2 nights that I did not stay in this dump, disaster of a hotel. Out of good customer service they should have refunded my money which they refuse to do. Another example of why you should not stay at this disaster, dump of a hotel. Summary of Issues: The worst issue was he exterior noise in both rooms was unbearable The pictures of the rooms did not reflect the pictures in the American Express travel portal The air conditioner did not work well it never cooled the room The bed was hard The pillow were hard The television was falling off the wall The curtains were not blackout the room was always full of light from exterior The towels were like sand paper

Good service... clean rooms and a very good place... we liked our stay... we couldn't eat because we had to leave early... but everything was fine...

Fantástico hotel, más céntrico imposible... todo su personal es un encanto, en especial los chicos del restaurante, los Bell boys... en la recepción nos dieron check in antes, todos están dispuestos a ayudar, las cortesías de agua, café, té, manzanas, chocolates, en fin... bicicletas gratis wifi, lavandería, room service, gym... magnífico hotel, habitaciones modernas... seguro regresamos, Gracias

We started our road trip with this hotel for 3 nights and we are not disappointed. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. The only bemol is that for those who like me are of hot chocolate, they don't use it ^^ and they don't have any confectionery, but butter is to be asked. The rooms were very clean, well equipped (TV, dish, toilet, shower, toilet...) Negative points that we noted: It remains quite far from the center and we had to move to Uber for some places, This is not a hotel to choose if you want to walk

This hotel was amazing! The hotel itself is just lovely, with all sorts of interesting details, especially in the lobby. The restaurant and bar were great, with lots of options, and the rooms were nice too. Also, every single employee was extremely professional. I have never stayed in a place this nice, but my American dollars went a little further in Mexico. I would ABSOLUTELY come here again!!!
