Some old high-end hotels have great location, just a few steps next to the reforma222 shopping mall, the water in the bathtub is yellow and very unpleasant. Others are okay. The bellman is responsible

Reforma
Exceptional experience ! Ultimate Ritz Carlton experience, would highly recommend if you travel to Mexico City! Definitely get one of the best view in Mexico City from your room , it truly exceed my expectation of a Ritz Carlton hotel. Extremely good service and always address you by your name. We encounter some problems within the room in the beginning, however the front office manager solve it very quickly which is excellent. We have stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and will definitely come back if we visit Mexico City again. Became a fan of Ritz Carlton now

Santa Fe
I stayed with my wife for long weekend. The place is well organised, the room was clean and taken care off on a daily base with high level of house keeping. The concierge team were very helpful, polite and friendly. Gave us great information about the area and activities.
Dominion Polanco

Polanco
I had to go to Mexico for an assignment and my employer booked me into the Dominion Polanco. It was a fantastic experience! The staff are very friendly and helpful (some basic Spanish goes a long way although the management speak English). The management are very helpful, friendly, professional and responsive. Security is 24/7 and the one incident where it mattered (earthquake evacuation drill) it was handled very professionally by the on-site security team. The suites are spacious and comfortable and the bedroom air-conditioning came in handy during the early summer heatwave. The beds are very comfortable. The pool, jacuzzi and gym are well-maintained, clean and enjoyable to use. The breakfast buffet is a tasty combination of Mexican dishes, fruit, cereal, toast, eggs, etc. The dining room can be a wee bit busy during peak times. Being opposite the Angela Peralta theatre, on some saturday nights one can enjoy beautiful live music from the comfort of the living room. Wifi is great, which came in handy since I have to videoconference from the flat quite often. The area could be a bit noisy especially for the suites on the lower floors as there was construction going on at a nearby building and there are a few lively restaurants close by.
Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City

Reforma
Located on the Reforma Avenue, the hotel is less than 1 km from the Museum of Anthropology and the Angel Independence Column. It is conveniently located about 8 minutes on foot from Metro Line 1. The breakfast at the hotel tastes good and has local features, but the variety is small. The buffet breakfast has two options, the regular version and the local special edition. Unfortunately, even the second one is not very rich. I tried the dinner at the hotel and it tasted very good. The price is slightly more expensive than the average restaurant. The red velvet cake sold in the hotel's bakery tastes good and is inexpensive and worth recommending. The hotel's swimming pool is relatively small, the gym is not very big, and there are few people in the evening.

Centro Historico
Most of the hotel attendants speak English and pop-up tours must carry personal cleaning supplies including slippers. The laundry service provided by the hotel is very expensive but there is a laundry shop down the street next door lobby has a big screen to watch football, a total of three restaurants one of the steak is very good. It's worth a try
