Hotel Luca

Super nice stuff esp. José! Very well located in Roma, one of the most trendy and safest areas in Mexico City, is surrounded by many nice restaurants!

I am a solo female traveller from Europe and stayed 4 nights at Hotel Luca. I had an extremely comfortable and safe stay! The hotel staff was very helpful, the room was nice and breakfast on the rooftop with a beautiful view! The are Roma Norte is very safe to be alone as a woman! Lovely coffee shops and restaurants are at reach! Bike stations are availabe close by! Absolutely perfect stay! Always again! One day I left my safe with my valuables and passport in open and when I came back they showed me pictures of my things and locked it in! Nothing was lost! Absolutely truth worthy and helpful staff! I loved it!!

Great little hotel in Colonia Roma. Our room was spacious and well maintained. The front desk people were so helpful and kind. They helped us so much when we realized we had booked our flight out at the wrong airport and helped make sure our driver could get us there on time. Much as gracias!

Everything about this hotel is wonderful: The staff, the room, the location! It's across from a quiet little park with pretty fountain, but close by to many great restaurants! We woiuldn't hesitate to stay there again if/when we were to return to Mexico City.

Breakfast at Luca's lovely rooftop terrace is its best feature. Chef Jorge Eduardo provides delicious and beautiful food and friendly and courteous waiter Giovanni ensures that your meal is customized to your preferences. Our terrace room was stylish and very comfortable and the terrace's fountain a lovely treat, but the bathroom door placement was a nuisance, always in the way, and there was an unpleasant odor from the shower drain whenever water was flowing into it. Luca's location is exceptional, next to Parque Luis Cabrera and its pretty fountains and within walking distance of many fine eateries, shops and museums. The front desk was friendly but not very engaged although it did arrange for us to have a purified water jug with spigot when we mentioned that the "bottle per day" of purified water was insufficient for us (front desk advised that Luca's tap water is not safe for drinking.)

We really liked the area where the hotel was located. It was a relatively quiet street, (though it was right next to a hospital, so we occasionally heard sirens and cars honking). Lots of restaurants, convenience stores, and cafes nearby. It was very easy to call an uber and get to different parts of town. People were friendly. The park across the street was small, but nice to walk around. Lots of people walking their dogs, and we never got bothered by anyone. Breakfast was ok, it's not a buffet, but it was plenty of food to fill you up. Fruit was delicious, and so was the fresh orange juice. The housekeepers were great! They took their time did a very thorough job each day. Nothing ever went missing. I had even set out some money for a tip, but they didn't take it. I later figured out that if I left it with the card that they leave to introduce themselves as the maid, they would understand it was the tip. The only thing we didn't like was that though the rooms were very sound proof, as in, we never heard the other guests when they were in their rooms, the hallway was VERY echo-y, and voices sounded very loud. Room doors also slammed unless you purposely shut it very carefully. We also ran into the problem of running out of hot water on our last day. I don't know if they were having plumbing issues that day, because our bathroom started having a strong sewage smell too, or the hot water tank was too small. We called the front desk, but they never sent anyone.

Beautiful breakfast on the rooftop. Service was outstanding. The location couldn’t have been better. We will stay there again. Next time we come.

The room was spacious. Breakfast on the rooftop was wonderful. The staff were attentive and accommodating. We loved that it was served until noon allowing us to get our exercise and showers in before breakfast.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Luca. The neighborhood was very nice. Rooms are very nice and clean and the breakfast was great. Our room facing the street on the second floor was a little noisy on a Saturday night and staff was very accommodating in moving us to the fifth floor for the rest of our stay. Also let us have a 1:00 pm check out. We would definitely stay here again!
