Nima Local House Hotel & Spa

If you're looking to get the experience of living in one of the many beautiful mansions in Roma Norte, then Nima is a no-brainer. Make sure to have your breakfast in the courtyard or on the rooftop terrace!

We had a memorable weekend in Mexico City and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nima. Beginning with a warm welcome from Lilly, Sofia and Andi to the delicious breakfasts, beautifully appointed room, expertly orchestrated day trips and dinner reservations we could not have a better introduction to Mexico City. We look forward to returning!

We had such a delightful stay at Nima. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and welcomed into a beautiful home. We enjoyed a delicious drink at check-in and taken to our beautiful room, which was very quiet and just off the top floor terrace — the De la Lama room. The house is historic and without an elevator and there are narrow steps to the top floor room which is something to consider for those with mobility issues. Staff kindly brought our bags up to our room. The terrace room is remote and quiet and has beautiful windows that let in lots of light, but there are blackout shades for sleeping in. The room is small, but fine for two people. The terrace is an excellent place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. It has lots of comfortable seating with a combination of small tables and sofas and lots of flowers, greenery, a fountain and an honor bar. The house location is perfect, along a quaint tree-lined street and just down the street from Panadería Rosetta and Rosetta Restaurant. We had wonderful meals at both locations, but get a reservation early for Rosetta restaurant. Staff were helpful at making reservations for us at restaurants but we made reservations for Rosetta far in advance of our trip. Everyone at Nima was very helpful at giving recommendations on places to visit and created an overall warm and welcoming atmosphere. After visiting the Museo Casa Luis Barragon, the famous architect, we came home to a book of architecture on our bed to enjoy during our stay. It was a very thoughtful touch. We had breakfast a few of our days at the hotel and it was delicious. During the six days we were there, they had music as entertainment one evening and also a fire pit. We were only able to step in and enjoy music for a while one night because we had reservations at a restaurant and we did not join for the fire pit, but I’m sure it was done well. This was a girls trip for my mother and me but I can see where it would be a nice place for couples or friends. I highly recommended this hotel and hope to return.

Me and my daughter stayed here for 3 days. It was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Exceptional place with an amazing service. Location is very convenient, close to an amazing restaurants and shops. Will come back again soon . Thank you!

This is one of the most incredible hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The hospitality is unmatched. Sofia and Andi were so lovely, as well as the entire staff. The rooms are so comfortable, the shower is so relaxing, and the entire space is incredibly serene. The breakfast is delicious, and the night service with tea is outstanding. We will be back!

The service was impeccable. Every staff member was extremely friendly and there to provide excellent service. The hotel was very beautiful. We had breakfast on the garden terrace most mornings. The complementary breakfast was excellent. The hotel is located on a great block and within walking distance of all the great restaurants that we ate at. Also we did the sauna and steam (complementary) at the spa down the block and had a great massage. My wife and I will stay there again if we are back in Mexico City and will certainly recommend it to friends and family. I’m 74 and I walking up three flight of stairs was not a problem but for anyone who is physically impaired and unable to do that, it would be. Most of the rooms would require two flights. Thank you all At Nima House for making our stay in Mexico City a memorable one. Steven
