Excellent place!!! The hotel is charming, cozy and clean. Axel, the front desk manager is great among the rest of the staff; Their service is top notch, we had issues with our reservation and Axel went far and beyond to solve our problem! Thanks a lot! We definitely are planning our next trip to Mexico City and staying at the same hotel. The neighborhood is safe and you have everything you need close by, big variety of restaurants and pubs, and walking distance to La Reforma and other landmarks, the only disadvantage is the noise outside (our room was very comfortable and with two balconies to the street) but, in an overpopulated city is completely normal. If you’re taking a tour, do not use Mexico tours, they gave us a price and by the time of the tour, when we’re going to pay they increased the price by 40% per person (they were overbooked and simply were taking the highest offers!!!) 😱…

Tiny room, loud fan for ventilation (no AC). Breakfast okay: scrambled egg, beans, fruit, yogurt, cereal, cold ham slices, toast, juice, coffee, tea, milk. Two bottles water in room daily. Biggest drawbacks are no elevator, noise( due to being built around a stone atrium that opens onto the street. Lots of voices and music noise until about 11PM or later, depending on guests. Staff were very helpful.

This hotel had some challenges for us. Our room was extremely cramped--I would not stay in our room (301) with two people. For example, it had no chair. The floor was very messy looking. The toilet ran noisily from time to time. It was on the third floor with no elevator. It was noisy thanks to the echoey lobby and the need to open the very small window. Hot water was intermittent. On the positive side, it is in a very good location, very near the depar**ent store Palacio de Hierro. The breakfast was okay. The staff was kind. The price is very reasonable, so it may be perfect if the price/location is just right for you.

In spite of the good location, I would not stay here again; in fact, we reduced our stay from 2 nights to 3. The rooms are all around uncomfortable, the hotel is very noisy, the rooms have no windows, and there's no air conditioning. Our room had a filthy floor, no chairs, and amenities such as tissue were not provided. There was no elevator. The stairwells are poorly lit.

No one ever tried to send such a terrible room for a suite. No chair no table , horrible music all day long no windows. You want light open the curtain and everyone is in your room cause you are facing reception desk. They tell you to have coffee for free and ask for payment. Totally unreliable . Do yourself a favor don’t go there

They have images of the hotel that are not real, VERY SMALL rooms, they do not have air conditioning, the staff is not very friendly and does not resolve their concerns either, they avoid them and treat you as a liar. We had to move from the same hotel on arrival without the right to a refund.

We had a lovely Spring Break stay at this hotel. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Sam, our guia, was very accommodating and always at the ready with quick answers and helpful advice about all the places we wanted to visit. The hotel itself was within quick walking distance to tons of restaurants and stores, as well as the Metro that can quickly get you everywhere else. Thanks for a great stay!

Excellent staff, friendly and willing to help. Great accommodation and good price. Hotel is always clean, nice bar-restaurant. Located close to the Independence Angel, Chapultepec Park & the Reforma way. Sam & Oscar were a valuable resource to get the tour around the city which was really nice to know more about Mexico and it’s incredible culture
