Im sooo happy I got to stay at El Patio 77. Everything about this place is amazing, the staff is thoughtful and went out of the way to make sure we had a great stay. The way the hotel is decorated is sooo dreamy, I got like 1000s of pictures and still can’t justify how beautiful it is in real life. The breakfast time was my fav time, it’s soo romantic and by the way the make breakfast fresh from scratch not like same “continental bf” you get at other hotels. Next time, I’ll definitely stay here and will explore more of San Rafael neighborhood bc it’s not so touristy and food is there.

I've been to Mexico City before and wanted to push myself to stay outside of the usual Condesa/Roma/Polanco areas. This was a great neighborhood that felt less touristy but walking distance from everything. The hotel itself is stunning. Elvia was such a warm and welcoming host, and so was Bonito the dog. <3

Lovely building and beautiful rooms and the best breakfast in CDMX! The rooms are spacious, clean and bright. Everyone was really lovely and helpful. Rooms come equipped with drinking water, a safe, a fan, a flashlight and mosquito repellant (which we did not need to use). We don't have pets but we were told that the hotel was pet friendly. The breakfasts were the high point for us. Breakfast was always two courses - fresh fruit and fresh juice and then a home-cooked Mexican dish. Everything was delicious. The staff were lovely, helpful and accommodating. Our beds were remade everyday and we received a fresh jug of water everyday - charming and pleasant. We loved the location. Nice, quiet neighborhood. It sits between Roma and is about a 30-minute walk to Alameda park. and right next to the touristy Roma and La Condesa neighborhoods. We walked to the museums, to Zocalo and to the beautiful national library. There are a number of nice local cafes and restaurants and loads shops open late.

My husband and I loved our stay at El patio 77. The property, room and staff were lovely, and we particularly loved the breakfasts, which were different every day of our 5 day stay. The location is a bit of a walk out of town (Roma, Condesa etc) but it was perfect for us, with some lovely cafes and bars nearby, and you can always easily get a cheap Uber of course. We would definitely stay here again!

El Patio 77 is so comfortable and such a unique stay. The space is breathtaking and the service went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. The continental breakfast is also a delicious touch! The neighborhood is out of downtown, but super safe and has incredible food options. Would stay here again in a second!

I spent 3 days and 2 nights at Patio 77 and enjoyed my stay very much. My room Veracruz had lots of character and lots of windows with a nice view to the patio after which the hotel is named. The host, sorry I forgot her name, was super helpful with recommendations for food, concerts and lucha libre (Mexican version of wrestling). The location is fine but a bit away from the historic centre but there is still enough good restaurants in an easy walking distance. Can definitely recommend the hotel.

We loved our stay at El Patio 77! The rooms/property are just as pictured, even better in real life! We stayed in the Chiapas Suite and loved the king bed and spacious seating area. We loved the mid-century modern furniture mixed with raw woods and traditional textiles, great vibes. The staff was excellent and it was so relaxing to have a fresh breakfast only a few steps away. Coffee, fresh juice, fruit with yogurt and granola, plus a different main dish each day! The hotel is outside the traditional tourist neighborhoods (which we prefer) but was very safe and had plenty of cafes and places to visit. We'd recommend El Patio 77 to any of our friends visiting CDMX and would ONLY stay here if we visit again!
