It was a good place to stay

Fair price. Great neighborhood.

I’ve stayed at Hotel New York many times and I’ll keep going back. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Check-in and check out is fast. The rooms are clean, housekeeping made daily and has a safe for your valuables. The rooms are simple but clean. Come prepared, bring your toiletries as you only get a small bar soap. The area is safe and quiet. That’s my personal experience. Lots to do around hotel, restaurants, convenience stores, subways, etc all near by. About a pleasant 1/2 hr walk to Historic Center. This trip we came across (it had never happened before), some noisy guests just outside the elevator. I did call them out though. Like come on! Keep it quiet, people are trying to sleep at 5:30 am! This a hotel where families with kids and elders stay. Show some respect and courtesy for other guests. There a clear signs on each floor and as you exit each elevator to be quiet in guest room floors. This however has been the only time though I’ve heard noisy guests. The other trips, other guests were respectful. Hotel is not to be blamed though for noisy and disrespectful guests. As always my over all experience at Hotel New York is always pleasant. I will return.

The New York Hotel Manager stole my cooking lighter utensil tool bought for using for cooking on the stove, ZARA Men’s clothes and pants I bought inside ZARA stores in shopping malls in Mexico City in 2019 and 2020 and are never worn but was inside my luggage in the New York Hotel Room, 1 lady’s white size xs T-shirt and some clothes, 1 pair of light color lady’s shoes I bought in a shopping mall in downtown Mexico City and kept using my name to get customers to stay in the hotel even after I told her that I do not want it. Very basic, Inexpensive, decent location.

I liked the stay. The bed is very comfortable to rest. The location is quiet and very close to Bellas Artes. The cost is very affordable. Only when I got to my room, this one did not have towels nor did I have WiFi. But nothing that couldn't be resolved by letting reception know. In general it is a good place to rest. I would stay there again.

In general we really liked the hotel, good attention from the staff, comfortable bed, very good cleaning, internet and good signal. The only detail, and if it is very necessary, is: at least a fan, if they are not going to air-condition the Hotel, because it already feels very hot in CDMX, I hope to return soon and that they have already resolved that detail.

Overall, the hotel is very good. The rooms are clean and pleasant. The workers are very helpful and courteous. Everything is very clean. The location could not be better, you are close to many public transport options and it is very easy to grab a taxi in the area. Just a detail. The television channels are not the best. Still, I will stay there again.

El personal es amable, y siempre conté con limpieza y cambio de sábanas diario. Lo mejor es la ubicación. Lo único que encontré desfavorable fue que no había muchos conectores eléctricos.

Hice en ******* una modificación a mi reservación para pasar de una cama matrimonial a dos matrimoniales, me aumentaron la tarifa obviamente. Este cambio no llegó por ******* al hotel de acuerdo lo que me dijeron ya que me ofrecían con dos camas individuales. Al final me cobraron la tarifa anterior $839 y me cobraron $300 para un total de $1139. El ajuste por ******* era a $920. Fueron $200, que mejor hubiera ido a otro hotel si me hubieran dicho antes.
